My visit to The Kitchen was nothing short of amazing. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious. I especially loved the cauliflower fritters and the signature dessert!

The lunch menu is solid. Had the grilled chicken salad, portion was generous for the price. The chicken was moist, greens fresh. Could've used a bit more dressing, but it's a good midday bite.

The food was tasty, no complaints there. But honestly, it's a bit pricey for a casual catch-up. We had a great time, but my wallet felt it afterwards. More of a special occasion spot with friends.

Had a lovely dinner with friends. The food was really good, especially the steak. It is a bit pricey, but the vibe was perfect for a catch-up. We stayed for ages just chatting.

Stumbled in after a long day. The lasagne was solid, but the real star was the house red they suggested. It had just the right body to cut through the rich tomato sauce. The crème brûlée was decent, though a touch too sweet for my taste.

The chicken katsu burger was a real find. Just the right amount of heat in the sauce, really hit the spot. Great spot to catch a game too.

The Panang curry is fantastic, but the portion size felt a bit small for the price. I was still a little peckish afterwards. It's delicious, just wish there was a bit more of it.

The upstairs seating was so comfortable, and I really appreciated the quiet corner table by the window. The view of the square was lovely. A very relaxing spot for a peaceful meal.

The staff here are so friendly and welcoming. They really took their time to explain the menu and made us feel right at home. Service was spot on, not rushed at all. Just a really nice, relaxed vibe thanks to them.

Pricey but worth it. The steak was cooked just right, and the view from the window seat was fantastic. Good for a special occasion.

Quick coffee and pastry stop. Staff are super efficient, got my order out in no time. Coffee was good, croissant fresh. Perfect for a fast bite when you're in a rush.

Came for the view, stayed for the food. The seafood pasta was generous, packed with prawns and mussels. For the price, the portion size is really decent. You get what you pay for here.

Came in for a casual lunch. The steak and ale pie with cheesy mash was really good, proper pub food. What I liked was the space - high ceilings and big windows, felt really light and airy for a pub.

Evening visit, and lots of the menu was sold out. Bit of a shame, but what we had was tasty and came out steaming hot.

Russell was super helpful with recommendations. Got my food quick and it was exactly what I wanted. 👍

Lovely clean cafe, really easy to get in with a wheelchair. The atmosphere is just comfortable, you know? And the shared loo was spotless, which is always a plus.

Popped in for a quick solo lunch. Food came fast, which was key for me. The steak sandwich was hot, well-seasoned, and matched the menu description. Good portion for the price.

Ella was our server and really attentive. The manager was also hands-on, helping the team. Food was good, but the portions felt a bit small for the price. A bit more on the plate would've made it feel like better value.

Staff were nice. Food's good too, but you do wait a bit. They cook it fresh. 👍 Good tunes playing. Friendly spot.

Been coming here for years, it's our local. The fruit scones are always fresh and warm, just the right amount of crumble. They don't skimp on the jam and clotted cream either. A solid spot for a quiet cuppa.

Had a business lunch on the veranda. Staff knew the menu well, gave clear recommendations without hovering. The setting was efficient for a meeting.

Easy to find next to Tesco. Good for a quick bite. Staff were fast and friendly. Got the chicken wrap, decent portion and tasted fresh. Perfect for a lunch break.

Pasta was loaded with prawns, really flavourful. Everything came out hot, portions are generous. Just a solid meal.

Travelled a fair distance for this. The food came out quickly, which was perfect with our toddler. One of the better Indian meals we've had.

Good portions for the price, and a huge menu to choose from. The vibe was just right—really relaxed and friendly.

Came for the afternoon tea with friends. The little savoury tarts were so good, and the cheesecake that looked like a flower pot was a fun surprise! A really nice spot for a long catch-up.

The fish and chips were spot on - lovely and crispy. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff were really friendly. My only small note is that the seating was a bit snug for a longer meal, but it was still a nice, easy lunch.

The fennel salami and Tomme cheese sandwich was a real find. The bread had this perfect, crisp crust that just gave way. For under a fiver, it felt like a little treat. Romsey's lucky to have this spot.
