Got lucky with a walk-in on a busy Saturday. The fish pie was spot on, proper comfort food. Friendly staff too. Good local beer. A solid spot in Lymington.

Popped in for lunch after a walk. The fish and chips were spot on—crispy batter, proper chips. Just what I needed. A solid pub.

The kitchen team here really works like a well-oiled machine. Saw the head chef guiding a younger cook through a sauce, patient and clear. It shows in the food - everything came out consistent and timed just right. A good sign.

Lovely lunch on the balcony. The view of the Purbeck Hills is just stunning on a clear day. It made the simple grilled salmon and salad feel like a proper treat. A really nice spot to unwind.

Great location right in the high street, so easy to pop in after shopping. The portion sizes are generous for the price, which is a big plus for me. I had the fish and chips, and it was more than enough.

The food was tasty, no complaints there. But honestly, it's a bit pricey for a casual catch-up. We had a great time, but my wallet felt it afterwards. More of a special occasion spot with friends.

Had a lovely dinner with friends. The food was really good, especially the steak. It is a bit pricey, but the vibe was perfect for a catch-up. We stayed for ages just chatting.

The upstairs seating was so comfortable, and I really appreciated the quiet corner table by the window. The view of the square was lovely. A very relaxing spot for a peaceful meal.

Came in for a casual lunch. The steak and ale pie with cheesy mash was really good, proper pub food. What I liked was the space - high ceilings and big windows, felt really light and airy for a pub.

Lovely clean cafe, really easy to get in with a wheelchair. The atmosphere is just comfortable, you know? And the shared loo was spotless, which is always a plus.

Staff were nice. Food's good too, but you do wait a bit. They cook it fresh. 👍 Good tunes playing. Friendly spot.

The French onion soup was really rich, and the monkfish tail had this great sauce. But honestly, what stuck with me was the room itself – the lighting was so soft and the chairs were actually comfortable for a long dinner. Just a nice, relaxed spot.

Focused menu, creative dishes. Prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. Had a quick lunch there, food came out fast. Solid spot for a good bite.

The homemade pies and cakes are solid. You can tell they're made with care. Had the apple pie, crust was good, not too sweet. A decent spot for a quick dessert.

First time trying their lamb shank. It was so tender it just fell apart, with this deep, rich flavour that wasn't too heavy. Really hit the spot on a chilly evening.

The staff were so kind about the ice cream mishap. They just brought a fresh one over with a smile, no questions asked. Really appreciated that.

Keep coming back for the pies, they've got real character. The space itself is clean and has a nice, relaxed vibe that just works. It's the kind of place you can settle into.

Popped in for breakfast. Family-run spot, staff were really friendly. The full English was spot on, proper sausages and eggs just right. Bit of a trek to get here, but the food made it worthwhile.

Great spot for a catch-up with mates. The sofas by the fire are so comfy for a proper chat. 🍻

The homemade scones were spot on. Really generous with the clotted cream. Just a lovely, simple cream tea.

Lasagne was spot on, hot and hearty. Perfect for a quick lunch. English breakfast looked good too, might try that next time. Service was quick, in and out in under 30 mins.

The burger patty is cooked fresh, so there's a bit of a wait. But you can taste the difference. Juicy, with a proper sear on the outside. The bun holds up well, doesn't get soggy. Worth the extra few minutes.

Lovely spot to bring the pup! They had water bowls ready outside which was a nice touch. Spent a sunny afternoon in the beer garden, the parasols were a lifesaver. Just a heads up, it got pretty busy later on.

Had a nice family lunch here. The staff were really friendly, and they even managed to get my six-year-old to eat something - a win! It's a relaxed spot, good for a couple of hours.

Helpful staff and the free parking out back is a real plus for a quick lunch. Steak burger was solid.

First time in Southampton, tried this steakhouse. The steak itself was really good quality. I appreciated that the booths were quite spacious and comfortable, made it easy to just relax and enjoy the meal. Service was friendly without being overbearing.

The Meat Feast takeaway pizza was spot on. Really generous with the toppings, and that stone-baked base had a perfect crisp to it. The veggie one looked great too. Just what we needed.

Loved the vibe here. The decor is just my thing – warm, a bit rustic, with these lovely old wooden tables. It feels cosy but not cramped. The owners are lovely, really know their stuff about the wine list. Food was great too, varied menu. A nice spot.

Came back for the lunch special. The beef stew had a deep, slow-cooked flavour, with carrots that were soft but not mushy. The gravy was rich, maybe a touch salty for some, but it soaked into the mash perfectly. That's what brought me back.
