Stopped in for a quick pint after a late meeting. The ale was spot on, properly kept and poured. Staff were efficient. A solid, no-fuss spot to unwind for an hour.

It gets packed on weekends, so be ready for a bit of a wait. The staff are doing their best to keep up though.

We ordered the grilled salmon for my birthday dinner. Loved how fresh the fish was, and the portion of greens on the side was generous. A nice, simple meal that felt good.

Had a lovely dinner here. The scallops were spot on, and my wife's seabass looked great. Their wine list is surprisingly thoughtful for a neighbourhood spot - found a lovely white that went with everything. Menu's a bit overwhelming though, so many good choices!

Decent spot for a quick lunch in town. The service was prompt and staff were friendly. Parking was a bit tricky, but overall it's a solid choice for the price.

Been coming here for years now. It's that reliable local pub you can always count on. The steak and ale pie is exactly the same as it was five years ago - proper, hearty, and never disappoints. That's why I keep going back.

The staff were so kind and patient with my daughter. It's a relief to find a place that makes dining out with little ones feel easy.

Nice little spot for a cuppa. They've got a fun collection of teapots on the shelves. The cakes looked good, will try one next time.

Popped in for a quick slice. The pizza was piping hot, really hit the spot. Crust had a nice chew to it, and the sauce wasn't too sweet. Waited maybe 10 minutes, which was fine for a fresh pie. They seem to keep things consistent here.

Really appreciate the gluten-free options here. The cottage pie was spot on, and the lemon meringue dessert was a nice finish. Staff were helpful about the dietary stuff.

Samsul and the team are always spot on. Been coming here for years, it's our local go-to for a curry.

Nice little French pub feel. Had the baked goat cheese, really hit the spot with a cold pint. Just what I needed.

Loved the music-themed decor, really quirky and fun. Food arrived piping hot, which is always a plus. The staff were super friendly too.

Cosy little spot, friendly staff. Food's decent for the price. The wine list is surprisingly thoughtful for a place this size – found a nice Rioja that went perfectly with the lamb.

The food's actually really good for what you pay. Fresh ingredients, you can tell they put care into it. Prices are fair.

They were so nice to serve us breakfast even after hours! The chef made a lovely meal and the tea was perfect. Great for a relaxed catch-up with friends.

Been coming for years. The food's still spot on, but I've always noticed the portions are a bit small for what you pay.

Perry and Tamsin were lovely servers, really polite and helpful. All the staff were a credit to the place. The pizza was pretty good too. A decent evening out.

Get there early if you want the crab. The simple menu is all about fresh local seafood, and their house white wine was a perfect match for the shellfish.

Popped in for a quick bite and had the pan-fried cod. It was really well done, crispy skin and the fish was spot on. A proper find for a pub meal. Just a bit on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for.

A large takeaway order from here recently. Everything arrived fresh and piping hot, which is a real plus for fish and chips. The staff were very accommodating with our group. A solid choice in Swanage.

Lovely Sunday roast at this pub. The beef was perfectly pink and tender, the Yorkshires were huge and fluffy. Gravy had a good depth to it. A solid pint of their house ale to go with it. Just what you need.

Came in on a whim, the place looked quite simple from outside. Ended up ordering a pasta special, the squid ink tagliatelle. It was genuinely delicious, rich and perfectly cooked. Staff were nice too.
