I was craving eggs but wasn't expecting to have them as it's not a Spanish custom to have them for breakfast. The couple who owns (I'll call them Joan and Juan) are very welcoming and friendly. I was happy to practice my Spanish speaking skills with them as I ordered breakfast. Joan quickly guessed what I wanted and suggested I order a Spanish tortilla sandwich with potatoes. As you may or may not know, a Spanish tortilla is more like a meat frittata. Lots of eggs and I was delighted. My partner ordered an American breakfast with ham and eggs. While we waited for our food, we ordered coffee. Juan suggested a cortado. It's just espresso with a little evaporation. Very good! The breakfast was also quite tasty for us. I love this local tapas bar. The staff is still the same after all these years. Great coffee and to support the low carb movement, you can order some low carb items like the Spanish tortilla with tomatoes. It's heavenly and filling!! The chips are also very cheap!!
