D31***61We made our way to The statue of Christ by using public transport first we bought a ticket at the Metro and there is a connecting bus that will take you directly to the cog tram. The cost was substantially cheaper than using a need to and also you are not limited to the amount of time that you spend up at the top of Christ the Redeemer

137***66[View] We visited the Rose Garden on the weekend of Memorial Day 2021. The Covid restrictions are being lifted, so this outdoor space is very popular. The rose bushes are full of blooming roses in various colors and styles of beauty. We spent about an hour walking around the different plantations just enjoying the smell and scenery. There were several rose arches - one that was under repair and not accessible but these were popular spots to take pictures with people. There is a fountain and a few benches in the middle of the garden to relax. My three adult children and I had a wonderful hour there. [price/performance] If you are in the area, it is a nice stop, especially when the roses are in full bloom
