Been staying here for years. The rooms are always spotlessly clean, and I love the decor. The bed's super comfy, and the shower is reliably hot with great pressure. It's just a consistently nice place to stay.

The fish and chips here are spot on. The batter is light and crisp, the chips are proper chunky. It’s a solid portion, too. That’s what I come for.

Popped in before my train and it was just the cosy spot I needed. The staff were lovely, really made me feel welcome even though it was my first time. A proper local pub vibe.

Stumbled in and the vibe was just right. Juliet was lovely, and the cocktails hit the spot. A nice, relaxed spot to unwind.

Came here with a few mates for a catch-up. The vibe was just right for that - buzzing but you could still talk. Cocktails were really good, well-balanced and strong enough. My old fashioned was spot on. A solid spot for a casual night out.

The upstairs area has a charming tavern theme with antiques and old books. It's a nice spot. The outdoor seating is perfect for sunny days, though the tables are a bit close together.

Company Christmas dinner. Food was hot, plates were cleared. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

The Sunday roast was pretty good. The meat was cooked just right, and the portions are decent. It felt worth the price for a relaxed weekend lunch.

A decent spot for a casual family meal. They were very welcoming to our dog, which was nice. The vibe is relaxed, good for a quiet drink. Food was fine, nothing extraordinary, but it did the job.

Spanish tapas are a nice change from the usual pub food. The chorizo in cider and garlic prawns were really good.

The phone ordering was a bit clunky, but the food came fast. Their house red was a nice surprise with the steak.

The tuna melt panini is my favourite. The space is bright and airy, perfect for a relaxed coffee.

The skateboard beer flight is such a fun idea! We got to try four different local brews. Perfect for a sunny afternoon, the light in here is just lovely. Cocktails were decent, but I'd come back for the beer selection for sure.
