A proper old-school pub, lots of space on different floors and a decent beer garden. The Guinness is spot on, poured perfectly. The staff know their stuff, especially about the ales. A solid pint in a classic setting.

Great spot for a private party, the staff really know what they're doing.

Great spot for a private party. Darren and Cathy handled everything perfectly, the bar never slowed down.

Brought our own birthday cake, they didn't charge a cutting fee or anything. That's a nice touch you don't always get. The main was a bit pricier than expected, but saving on the cake helped balance it out.

Friendly staff, always. They make the place feel relaxed. Good spot to unwind, decent beers on tap. Nothing fancy, just a solid local vibe.

Friendly staff, Sophie at the bar was great. But honestly, the cask ales are a bit pricey for the size you get. I love a good pint, but the portion felt a little small for what you pay.

Perfect spot for a quick drink. Right across from the river, easy to grab a pint before the ferry. View is decent. Service was prompt, got the bill quickly. Good for what it is.

The portions are huge and look so good on the table! We shared the pasta, a pie, and a couple sandwiches. Perfect for a group, everyone got to try a bit of everything. Just a heads up, it gets pretty lively in the evenings.

A proper station pub, love the railway bits all over. Had a couple of their local ales on tap, really hit the spot. Solid snacks to go with it. Just a nice, easy place for a pint while you wait.

Loved the little snug room with all the board games! It was just the right vibe for a chilled catch-up with my mates. The garden looked nice too, but we ended up staying inside all evening playing Jenga.

Christmas dinner with friends. Starters and mains were solid, everything came out hot even for our big table. Decent value for what you get.

First time in Dorking and really liked this pub. The garden is so spacious and the private cubicles are a lovely feature. Had a nice lunch and a good pint. Staff were friendly, and it's dog-friendly too. A very comfortable spot.

Had my friend's party in the private room. It was so nice to chat properly even with the main bar being packed for the rugby.

Been coming here for years now. What keeps me coming back is the ale selection – always something new on tap, and it’s always spot on. Properly kept, never a bad pint. That consistency is hard to find.

Love popping in here for a Sunday roast with friends. It's always so hearty and filling, perfect for a lazy weekend catch-up. The beef was spot on this time. Such a cosy spot for a group.

Great for a big group dinner. The team sorted everything for our booking, really helpful. The buffet had a good selection, everyone seemed to enjoy it. A couple of dishes were a bit lukewarm by the time we got to them, but overall it worked well for the occasion.

The Sunday roast beef here is the main event. Properly pink in the middle, crispy roasties, and a Yorkshire pudding that didn't sag under the gravy. That's what I come for.

Tom was super nice to us and our dog. He made sure we had everything we needed without being over the top. Just a really good vibe from the team here.

Decent Sunday roast, especially for Brighton prices. The place is tiny though, so it can get a bit cramped. Staff were on it, friendly and quick even when it was busy.

We were a big group after a hike, and the staff (James, Tyler, Charlie) were so on it. They handled everything without a fuss. The food and pints were spot on, but the service really made it. No stress at all.

Stopped in on a hot afternoon for a pint. Four well-kept bitters on hand pump, plus a solid lager selection. A proper pub, busy with locals and visitors. Exactly what you want on a sunny day.

The kids' meals were surprisingly fresh - they even ate all the veggies! Great to see proper ingredients for little ones.

Been coming here for years. Joe's fish and chips are always spot on, never greasy. That's why I keep coming back.

Been coming here for years, mainly for the drinks. What keeps me coming back is the live music. It's always solid, whether it's a solo act or a full band. Just a reliable spot for a good pint and some tunes.

The regulars here are so friendly. They just started chatting with us at the bar, made us feel right at home. It’s that kind of easy, old-school vibe you don’t find much anymore.

The Sunday roast beef was so tender, and the roast potatoes had that perfect crisp. Portions are generous for the price.

The sticky toffee pudding was the star for me. Warm, gooey, and not too sweet. It just hit the spot perfectly after the main course.

The almond croissant was spot on. They had a nice selection of wines by the glass that paired well with the savoury pastries.
