The lamb was cooked just right, and that fruity dessert was a dream. Staff were so lovely, they even did a little something extra for our anniversary. Really made us feel special.

The full English breakfast is the real deal here. The black pudding is properly spiced, and the bacon is thick-cut and crisp. The coffee is strong and rich, which is exactly what you need with a fry-up. A solid, no-fuss meal.

Great spot for a sunny afternoon drink. The people-watching is a bonus. I had their house rosé, which was crisp and refreshing. A bit pricey for what it is, but the location is convenient with parking nearby.

Been here a few times. The beetroot vegan pizza is a solid choice, really hits the spot. The apple and pecan salad is fresh, good for a lighter bite. Staff are always friendly, makes it a nice local spot.

7 of us had dinner while visiting Eastbourne to watch my son in the Easter Panto. We preordered our food and had fantastic in person service at the restaurant. The food was deliscious, I highly recommend the crab cakes to start! All 7 of us agreed we would return if in Eastbourne again!

Been coming here for years. It's the owner who makes it special, always greets you like a neighbour. Food's simple but reliable. A proper local spot, not trying to be anything it's not.

The crust on their pizza is so light and crispy, and the toppings taste really fresh. Definitely up there with the best I've tried.

Been coming here for years. Food always arrives hot and fast, which I appreciate. You can really taste the freshness in the ingredients. The team knows what they're doing.

The mains are fantastic, but sides are a bit hit or miss. The coleslaw had way too much mayo for me. Mushy peas were spot on though, really good.

Alissia was lovely, really looked after our table. The heritage menu was solid, and she was right about the chocolate & salted caramel tart - so good! Perfect for a relaxed catch-up with friends.

Great spot for a quick lunch. Chicken satay and samosas were tasty, and the Malaysian curry hit the spot. Appreciate the good range of non-alcoholic drinks too. Service was quick, got me in and out in under 30 mins.

Popped in on a Saturday without a booking and they squeezed us in! 🍹 Drinks were really good, had a nice chilled vibe for catching up with friends. A bit of a wait for the table, but worth it for a spontaneous weekend afternoon.

Pizza's fresh, ordered mine with extra pepperoni. The clam pasta was good, flavour was spot on. Place was packed on a Tuesday night, had to wait a bit for a table. Service was friendly though. Gelato was a nice finish.

Came for a quick pint, ended up staying for dinner. The staff were so lovely and really looked after us. The fish and chips were spot on—crispy batter, proper chips. A nice, relaxed spot.

Such a lovely spot by the canal. The gardens were beautiful, really made the whole evening feel a bit more special. Perfect for a relaxed meal, just what I needed.

The atmosphere at Zari is perfect for a relaxed meal out, with friendly and attentive staff who make you feel welcome throughout your visit.

Nice spot for a family meal before the cinema. The kids' menu is reasonably priced, which makes things easy.

Quick lunch spot. Staff were really helpful with my gluten-free options. Knew the menu well, no fuss. Got my order sorted fast. Good for a quick bite when you're in a rush.

Stopped by for a quick coffee. The homemade shortbread that came with it was a nice surprise, really good. For the price of a standard latte, getting that little extra felt like a proper deal. Wouldn't mind that becoming the norm everywhere.

Popped in for a quick lunch. The pizza was spot on - fresh out of the oven, nice and crispy. Justyna was lovely, service was quick but not pushy. Decent spot for a bite.

Been dropping by for a while now. The vibe is just spot on. Katie on the staff is a pro, really notices the little things. Drinks are solid too.

Grabbed a quick lunch with a voucher. The manager Alegre was super efficient, got my order out fast. Food was good, solid meal for the price. No fuss, just what you need on a break.

Fried monkfish and the steak were both solid choices. It does get quite busy, so expect a wait. Sat outside on a sunny afternoon - that was a plus.

Loved the saag paneer here, so creamy. The apricot curry was a nice surprise too – they made it less spicy for me, no fuss. Portions are decent. Bit of a wait for the mains, but it was a busy Friday night.

As a vegan, I was pleasantly surprised by the menu here. They have a dedicated section with plenty of choices. The cashew-based cheese on my pizza was spot-on—creamy and flavourful, not like the usual bland substitutes. The place itself is quiet and relaxed, perfect for a slow meal.

Been coming here for years, and the Oreo waffle is a bit hit or miss compared to the picture. But the ice cream? Always spot on. That's what keeps me coming back.

A lovely pub with a nice, relaxed feel. The service was friendly and prompt. I really appreciated the huge back garden – it meant we could enjoy our meal without worrying about the little ones. The menu looked good, so I'd like to come back to try a few other things.

The tasting menu changes with the seasons. Had it last week, each dish was a little surprise. Flavours were interesting, presentation was really nice. Felt like a proper little journey.

Really impressed by the vegan pizza here. The crust was thin and crispy, and the cheese didn't have that weird coconut aftertaste you sometimes get. My little one had a blast making her own pasta, too.

Busy Friday night, but our waitress was on it! She was juggling so many tables but still checked in with us, never seemed flustered. Made waiting for our food way less annoying.
