Grabbed takeout again, their online system is so easy. Food was ready in 15 mins, just as promised. The pad thai was still piping hot when I got home, which is a win.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming, which made the whole evening feel very relaxed. They even brought a few little extras for the kids without us asking, which was a really nice touch. Just a very comfortable, easy meal.

Been coming here for years, and the crispy duck is always spot on. Just the right amount of crisp on the skin, meat stays tender. That's the main reason I keep coming back.

Friendly staff and solid coffee. Just popped in for a flat white and a croissant – both hit the spot. It’s become my go-to in Brighton and Hove when I’m just wandering around.

A solid spot for a casual bite. The all-day breakfast is the highlight - eggs were spot on, bacon crispy, and the portion is generous for the price. It does get quite busy in that small space, so timing is everything. Staff were lovely and quick.

The set menu here is a solid deal. Plenty of options, and the portions are huge. I couldn't finish mine, ended up taking half home. For the price, you definitely get your money's worth.

The owner's complimentary liqueur at the end was a nice touch. A smooth digestif, not too sweet. It was a good way to finish.

The Aloo Bara was lovely. Their lamb dishes are particularly good, they really know how to handle their spices. A solid spot for a decent meal.

Lunch for seven on a wet and windy day. Food was excellent and attractively presented. The service was excellent, with happy, helpful staff, although the restaurant was not crowded at 2.30pm. Importantly, the bar and restaurant rooms were not crammed into the place - there was room to breathe. Also, the carpeted floor in the restaurant area made a huge difference to the acoustics - we could enjoy the food and the conversation.I'd be happy to recommend the Devil's Dyke to anyone.

The team here really works together. Got a warm welcome, and they were all so helpful with the menu. Even bagged up my leftovers without me asking. Just felt like everyone was on the same page.

Just popped in for a quick bite. The place was so clean and bright, it felt really comforting. My burger was spot on, exactly how I remember them tasting years ago. That classic vibe is still here.

First time trying their fish and chips. The batter was super crispy, not greasy at all. Different vibe from the old-school chippies, but I liked it. Portion was decent for the price.

Went on a Tuesday, still had a nice buzz. Nothing fancy, just really good food. The lamb chops were spot on, cooked just right. Honestly, the best bit of my week so far.

Been coming here for years, and the service is always spot on. Staff remember you, never feel rushed. That's what keeps me coming back.

Love that they have so many veggie and vegan choices! The jackfruit tacos were my pick this time – really fresh and full of flavour. Nice to see a menu that actually caters to different diets.

The food is the star here. Had the grilled octopus and it was spot on, tender with a nice char. Service was smooth too. The place itself is a bit bright and bare for my taste, but honestly, I was just there for the plate in front of me.

Crispy duck was the star, honestly forgot to take pics of anything else. That's how good it was. Skin was perfectly crackly, meat just fell apart. Might have to make this a regular thing.

The Francesinha is the star here. The sauce has a deep, rich flavour and the meats are perfectly seasoned. It's a proper, hearty dish that really hits the spot. Just be ready for a food coma afterwards!

The staff were really on it. I had a mix-up with my takeaway order, and the manager himself came round to sort it out. No fuss, just fixed it.

Staff are friendly. Buffet's decent for trying a bit of everything. Got my plate sorted quickly during the lunch rush. Good for a quick bite.

The new Reigate spot is stunning, and the wine list is a proper upgrade from the old place. A much more relaxing spot for a glass now.

Simple food done right. The breakfast brioche was spot on. Also tried the vegan bap - really generous portion and the ingredients tasted super fresh. That's what you want.

Been coming here for years, and the Ultimate Eggs Benedict is why. That half portion with sausage, mushrooms, and proper chips is always spot on. Just hits the spot every single time.

Got a table as a walk-in on a busy night, which was a win. Staff were quick and friendly. Food came out fast. Exactly what you need when you just want a quick bite and don't have time to wait around.

Stopped in for a sub before tackling Seven Sisters. The owner's trail tips were spot-on—saved us from a wrong turn! Sandwich was solid fuel, kept me going for hours. A good find before a long walk.

Solid English breakfast. Good coffee. 👍 Friendly service.

Really nice staff, they made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. It was a busy Friday night but they still took the time to chat a bit. That kind of service makes a difference.
