The outdoor bit is nice, sits you right in the lane. They had some old tunes playing, which was a nice touch. The aubergine dish for veggies was good, flavour was just right, not stodgy at all.

Really liked the vibe here, and they were so welcoming to our dog. The portions are huge, honestly couldn't finish my plate. Food was spot on, just a lovely spot for a relaxed meal.

The steak was cooked exactly as requested, a proper medium-rare. Juicy, with a good sear on the outside. That's what I come for. The pizzas and pasta looked fine, but I was focused on my plate.

Authentic doner and shish kebabs, just like I remember from my trips to Turkey. Owners are genuinely welcoming, which is a nice touch. Portions are generous for the price. Good spot for a quick, satisfying meal.

The beef cheek was cooked for hours, so tender it fell apart with a fork. The red wine sauce had a deep, rich flavour that wasn't too heavy. Portion was decent for the price. That's what I came for.

The lunch menu had a lot of options, which was nice. The chips were really good, but the portions were a bit on the smaller side for the price.

Nice spot for a relaxed dinner. The staff were quick and friendly, which kept things moving. My main was cooked just right, and the whole vibe was spot on for a casual night out.

Nice local spot with a cosy feel. The garden out back is a proper sun trap in the afternoon. Saw a few families there, the kids seemed happy in their little play corner.

Tried the chicken tikka from the tandoori menu. The portion was generous and the meat was beautifully charred from the clay oven. Really enjoyed the smoky flavour. A solid choice.

The waitress was so sweet, really attentive without being overbearing. She noticed I was asking about ingredients and brought over a little card with the sourcing details for the greens. That made me feel really looked after.

The location is perfect for a pre-theatre dinner. Just a short walk from the hotel. I appreciated the fresh, seasonal ingredients in the salad - the greens were crisp and the dressing light. A nice, simple option before the show.

The staff were so friendly, and they even brought a sausage for our dog. It was a really nice touch. I always appreciate when a place is thoughtful like that. The service felt genuine and not overbearing at all.

Family-run spot, loads of character. It was packed on a Friday, lively buzz but you do have to lean in to chat. The wine list had a nice local red that paired surprisingly well with the rich pasta. A solid neighbourhood choice.

Lovely meal, and the vibe was just right. Not too loud, not too quiet. The lighting was soft, and the decor felt modern but cozy. A really pleasant spot to unwind.

The burger's quality is there, you can taste it in the patty. A bit pricey, but it's a solid splurge.

The curries are always spot on, and they give you so much! It’s our regular for takeaway now. The lamb rogan josh is my favourite – so tender and the sauce is just right.

Bottomless cocktails were fun, but the real star was the Sicilian Lemon Meringue pie. Tart, creamy, not too sweet. It paired beautifully with a glass of Moscato d'Asti I ordered. The pie's zing and the wine's slight fizz just worked.

Been meaning to try this place for ages. Finally went for the Sunday roast everyone talks about. The beef was so tender, just fell apart. Gravy was spot on. A bit of a wait for a table, but worth it for that plate.
