Stumbled upon this spot years back and now it's a must-visit whenever I'm in town. It's always so cozy, and the staff remembers my group even when we haven't been in months. Feels like our little secret.

Tried their veggie egg white omelette for the first time. It was fluffy and packed with fresh veggies. The home fries were crispy, just how I like them. Coffee was good too. A solid breakfast spot.

If you're looking for authentic Hong Kong flavors, this is the place to be! The menu is extensive, and everything I've tried has been fantastic. Plus, the staff is incredibly welcoming.

The bass here totally changed my mind about fish! I'm usually not a fan, but their preparation was so good. The chilled pea soup was a perfect starter for sharing with friends.

Cozy retro diner with a real old New York feel. The booths are comfortable, which made for a relaxed meal.

The standout feature of this restaurant was the service, which was both fast and incredibly accurate. Our orders were taken and delivered with impressive speed, making it a great stop if you're in a rush. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite match the pace. Everything we tried was simply 'just okay'—nothing inherently bad, but certainly nothing memorable or exciting enough to warrant a second visit.

The burger was really good, especially for the price in this area. The drinks pack a punch, but my Guinness pour felt a bit on the lighter side.

The build-your-own salad is efficient. You get a good portion for the price, and they're generous with the toppings. It's my go-to for a quick, healthy lunch near the office.

Great spot to catch a game with all the TVs. Tried their Tuesday trivia night for the first time last week—it was a fun, low-key way to break up the week. The crowd was really into it.

Been coming here for years for the duck noodle soup. Broth's always the same, reminds me of how it used to taste. Gotta add their house-made chili sauce, really makes it. A solid, no-fuss bowl.

Selected for Must-Visit Restaurants in New York

The two eggs on ciabatta was a standout. Perfectly runny yolks, the bread had a great chew. One of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had in a long time.

The sliders were cooked just right, and the spinach artichoke dip was a nice surprise. Really cozy spot for a date night.

My friends and I love grabbing an almond croissant here before we hang out. It's our little neighborhood spot.

Our server was so thoughtful. She noticed we were sharing the pasta and offered to split it into two plates in the kitchen. It's a small thing, but that kind of consideration for how the meal is presented makes a difference. The portion was still generous for each of us.

The pistachio croissant is a must-try, and their coffee was a perfect pairing. Staff were very kind.

Great spot for a group. The round tables are a nice touch, made it feel more connected. Even with a full house, the noise wasn't overwhelming, could actually hear my friends. The dishes all had their own little twist.

The staff were so kind and helpful with my scooter. It made getting around the restaurant a breeze.

Prices here are pretty fair for the UES. The portions are generous, and the food is solid. Got the chicken parm, and it was a huge plate for the money. No crazy markups like some spots around here.

The sancocho was solid, and their house red was a surprisingly good match for it. Decent portions for Manhattan prices.

Been coming here for years. It's always spotless, which is a big deal for me. Food's solid, service is quick. Hard to beat for under $20 most of the time.

Cash only, so come prepared. They get your food out fast, which is nice when you're in a hurry.

The scones were fresh and warm, with nice jam and cream. A decent part of the tea set.

Been coming here for years, and the line always moves fast. That rainbow bagel is still my favorite.

Big Breakfast is my go-to for a quick, filling lunch. The mushrooms and baked beans really stand out. Got it to go last week, and it was ready in under 5 minutes. Perfect for a busy day.

The staff was really patient helping us with the menu when our Spanish wasn't great.

The new owners are doing a solid job. Grabbed a burger and fries, which were fresh and hit the spot. The real standout was their rotating craft beer list—found a great local IPA that paired perfectly. Service was friendly and quick. Glad to see this spot getting a second life.

Perfect for a date night that doesn't feel cheap. The vibe is just right.

The server was really helpful explaining the ingredients in each dish for our first time. Made it easy to choose something fresh and healthy.
