They wouldn't sell me the daily special because it wasn't up to their usual standard. I respect that commitment to quality, even if it means they lose a sale. It's a good sign they care about what they serve.

The beer garden is a lovely spot to sit outside. I had an Aperol Spritz, which was really nice. It's a comfortable place for a quiet drink.

The ham, cheese, and onion toastie is the reason I keep coming back. Perfectly crispy bread with just the right amount of melted cheese. Staff are always nice when you pop in.

Been coming here for their English breakfast every weekend. It's just so good, the sausages are spot on. Staff are always friendly, place is clean. Really nice vibe for a lazy morning.

The Eccles cakes are a steal for the price. Got a couple to take away, they were huge and packed with fruit. Honestly, could have shared one. The wimberry pie was good too, but those Eccles cakes are the real value.

Lovely spot with a rustic feel, those stone walls are great. The seating is really comfortable, which is so important to me. I had a drink and just relaxed there for ages, it was very peaceful.

Popped in for a quick bite. The veggie medley pizza was spot on, really fresh and tasty. My mates liked their fish and chips too. Decent spot for a casual meal.

My friend was right about this place. The food was a nice surprise, honestly.

Lovely little spot near the village centre. We sat outside in the sun, which was nice. The food is all cooked fresh - my chicken and leek pie was spot on, really tasty. Good selection of hot meals and cakes.

Been coming here for years. The Jenny Wren loaf is always spot on, just like my gran used to make. Chocolate tarts are a nice treat too. Staff are a friendly bunch, which helps.

Popped in for a quiet coffee. The space is huge and really versatile, could see it working for all sorts of events. My latte was decent, just what I needed.

A nice little cafe at Victoria Quays, not far from the centre. Service was quick and friendly. The food was pretty good, though the coffee was a bit strong for my taste. Fine for a quick stop while out walking.

The homemade granola with yoghurt and berry compote is my go-to here in Sheffield. The granola has a lovely crunch and the compote isn't overly sweet. It's simple, but they get every detail right. I find myself thinking about it between visits.

The catering sandwiches were so fresh, with crisp veggies and quality bread. They even included lovely vintage plates, which was a thoughtful touch.

The banana bread was spot on, moist and not too sweet. Paired it with a flat white. The salted caramel shortbread had a nice crunch, but a bit rich for my taste. Solid coffee accompaniments.

Been coming here for years. The zorbia is always spot on, just like I remember it from my first visit. That’s what keeps me coming back. The menu’s huge, but I usually stick with the classics.

The upstairs is a great spot to work or meet friends. Lots of natural light, feels spacious. Their coffee is reliably good, and I appreciated the short but thoughtful selection of teas. A solid choice for a quiet afternoon with a decent drink.

The coffee is really good, and the breakfast was cooked just right. I liked how relaxed it felt here. The chairs were comfortable, which made it easy to just sit and enjoy the morning. A nice, easy spot.

The veggie afternoon tea was lovely, and the prosecco was a perfect pairing. The spinach fritter 'burger' was a standout. A nice touch for a celebration.

Been coming here for years. The vintage decor and soft music haven't changed a bit, which is exactly why I keep coming back. It's just a reliably cozy spot for a quiet cuppa.

The coffee's solid, but those vegan cupcakes are the real star. Moist, not too sweet. Service is always friendly, even when they're busy.

Great start to the day. The Bloc Brunch on that massive sourdough was spot on, quality ingredients. A glass of fresh orange juice was the perfect pairing, really brightened up the plate. Staff were lovely, music was a nice touch. Felt very relaxed.

Staff were fine, food was decent. Good for a quick bite.

Walked in on a Saturday night without a reservation, and they still squeezed us in. The Baileys hot chocolate was lovely, served in a proper glass mug. It was £8.50, which felt a bit steep for the portion, but it was a nice treat to warm up.

The staff here are so friendly, it really makes a difference. Rishi and Chris always have a smile and a nice word, which puts you at ease. A very pleasant place to have a quiet meal.

Been coming here for years, and the flat white is consistently spot on. It’s the main reason I keep returning. That little jug of hot water on the side for a long black? They never forget it. Just solid, every time.
