Best restaurant I’ve been to. So welcoming and honest staff. Easy to talk to. My partner and I have a story behind going here, so we are sad to know the business is closing.

Our first time in Byron and The Forest didn’t disappoint one bit. We were 40minutes late to our dinner reservation and were still greeted and treated the best by all the staff members. The venue is very modern with a beautiful rustic twist to it after the sunsets. Never in my life have a wanted to drink wine… however, with the degustation menu we received paired wines with each meal. They all paired and went down amazingly well. Food, service and culture are 10/10 Thank you for having us,The Lio’s

Great spot for a sunny lunch with the pup. The outdoor tables are a real plus. Tried the daily pasta special—really fresh and light, just what you want when it's warm. Could've used a bit more sauce for my taste, but still a nice, simple dish.

Jance and Ilona were so lovely. They remembered my name from the booking and checked in just the right amount. Felt genuinely looked after without it being over the top. A nice touch.

The sommelier really knew her stuff. She suggested a lovely Italian white to go with my grilled fish, and it was spot on. The wine list had some interesting organic options too, which I always appreciate. A nice touch for a relaxed dinner.

Ms Ho - Great food. Quick service. Great little local joint that I’d recommend to anyone after a meal with friends or terrific for take away too. Do yourself a favour and give it a go!

Been coming here for years. The service is always friendly and efficient, even when they're packed.

Their vanilla slice is honestly the best I've had here in Aus. We shared a couple after dinner and it was the perfect sweet finish with friends. The custard was so smooth, and the pastry just right. A bit messy to eat, but totally worth it.

All our party enjoyed their meals . The staff were friendly and helpful . Service was excellent . We will definately visit the club again .

The wrap was huge and so fresh. Loved the crisp veggies and that grilled chicken was spot on. Coffee hit the spot too. Staff were all really lovely.

Love the old-school diner vibe here. The retro booths and decor make it feel like stepping back in time.

The portions here are huge for what you pay. I got the grilled salmon plate and it was a proper meal, not one of those tiny fancy servings. Honestly couldn't finish it all. Good if you're hungry!

The calamari and chips are cooked to order. Squid is tender, batter is light and crisp. Chips are proper thick-cut and golden. That's the main thing.

Been coming here for years. Coffee's always spot on, and the old building has a real charm. The courtyard out the back is a winner – you can actually hear yourself think.

Been grabbing lunch here for ages. The veggie options are always fresh, never a letdown. Quick and tasty, perfect for a fast bite. Menu's solid, tried most of it. Gets the job done every time.

Lunch special is a steal. Scallop potatoes, curry, dhal, tofu balls - all spot on. That ginger mint lemon drink hit the spot.

The food was absolutely fantastic. The staff were very friendly. The queue was quite long but worth the wait. The only problem was the meat raffles were loud but to be expected in a sports club. All in all a fantastic place to go!!

The pizza chef is the real deal here. Watched him work the oven, and my margherita had that perfect chewy crust. Live music was a nice touch, cocktails were decent. Might be back just for the pizza.
