The server really knew his stuff. Explained the different cuts in detail, and his recommendation was spot on. Made ordering a lot easier.

Turned up without a booking and it was packed. Shereen was really kind, found us a spot to wait for our takeaway order. A table came free sooner than expected and she sorted us out. The pizzas were good, didn't have to wait ages for them either.

The hot shellfish platter was a treat. The tempura prawns had a lovely, light batter. My only small note is the wine list is a bit limited, but what they do have is nice. A very comfortable spot for a relaxed meal.

A lovely place to sit and read. I finally tried their sea salt and thyme cookie stack - it's as good as everyone says. The sweet and salty mix is just right.

The late-night staff are so nice. Popped in for a quick bite after a long day and they were really welcoming. The lady who served us was lovely, made us feel right at home.

The crab benedict was the star. Poached eggs were just right, runny yolk mixed with the hollandaise. Crab meat was fresh, not fishy at all. English muffin held up well, didn't get soggy. That's what I come for.

Busy Friday afternoon, but easy parking. A clean spot for a quick break and a decent coffee.

Chef Fumi’s sushi class was a lovely way to spend an afternoon. She has such a quiet passion for the craft, and I learned a few simple tricks I can actually use at home. The whole thing felt very personal.

Usually have a long wait in between ordering drinks & food order being taken. Today drinks order taken straight away, then when drinks bought to table the waiter took our food order. Didn't take long for our food to arrive at tabke. Excellent service

The lamb rogan josh here is the real deal. The sauce is thick and rich, with a deep, slow-cooked flavour. The meat just falls apart. It's got a proper kick to it, too. One of the better curries I've had in a while.

A decent vegetarian spot. Their menu keeps getting better, everything feels quite thoughtful. The chickpea curry was pretty good, just a touch salty for my taste.

My regular spot for a quick coffee fix. Staff are friendly and know their beans, but service can be a bit slow when they're busy. Still, the espresso is solid. Good for a grab-and-go.

The flat white was spot on. Saw the staff deal with a tricky customer - they were calm and sorted it out without a fuss. Good to see.

Been coming here for years. Booked a big group, they put us in our own area. Pre-ordered the pies, came out hot and proper. Just how it should be.

The ingredients in their bibimbap tasted so fresh and vibrant. A really nice, healthy lunch option.

Salted caramel cake and chocolate frappe were spot on. And the staff found my passport after closing - so kind of them!

The coffee was a bit weak for my taste, but the beans had a nice nutty flavour. I'd probably ask for an extra shot next time.

Been coming here for years, and the consistency is what keeps me coming back. The staff are always so helpful, like that time they made a special dish for my friend's dietary needs. It's the little things.

The banana bread is the star here. They toast it to order, so it comes out warm and crisp on the edges. Really hits the spot with a coffee. Plenty of other cakes and vegan choices too, which is a nice touch.

Lovely spot in the back garden for a quick bite. The fountain makes it really peaceful. Perfect for a quiet evening meal.

Stopped by for lunch. The vegan lasagne was really good, felt like something you'd make at home. Portions were decent for the price.

The bacon smashed avocado toast is the reason to come. The avocado was perfectly ripe, not mushy, and the bacon added a nice salty crunch. The toast itself held up well. The matcha latte was fine, but the toast is the star.

The sushi was so fresh! We tried a bunch of different rolls and the price was spot on for what you get. Perfect spot for a casual dinner with friends.

Got a table right away, which was a nice surprise. Coffee was fresh and hot, just what I needed. A good spot for a quick bite when you're not in a rush.

Been coming here for years, it's my local. The bacon and egg roll is always spot on, proper portion and not stingy with the bacon. Good for a quick bite by the water.

In St. Nicholas Market, so it's pretty lively. The place itself is spotless, which I liked. Had the pad thai - decent portion, flavour was okay but nothing crazy. Good for a quick, clean bite in the market.

Been here a few times. The crispy vinegar pork is a solid choice, really hits the spot. They managed our big group without a fuss, which was appreciated.

The fried eggs were exactly how I like them, fully solid with no runny yolk. That's a rare find. The bacon was crisp, the sausage had a good snap. Just a solid, no-nonsense fry-up.

Nice little spot near the Clifton Bridge. The lamb shank was cooked perfectly, fell right off the bone. Staff were really on it, checking in without being overbearing. Good for a relaxed meal.
