The chicken burger was spot on, juicy and well-seasoned. The Beyond burger for our veggie friend looked really good too, she finished the lot. Chunky chips were proper, crispy outside. A solid meal, no complaints.

Came in for a birthday party. Staff were really patient with a bunch of noisy kids, which was the main thing. The little ones got to help make their own desserts, which they loved.

The grilled octopus was the standout. Perfectly charred, tender inside, not rubbery at all. That smoky flavour with the lemon and herbs was spot on.

We popped in for a family lunch. Russ prepared our meals, and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. The salmon was perfectly cooked, and the salad greens were crisp. It's nice to find a place that clearly cares about the quality of their produce.

The gluten-free pasta was actually hot and tasty. Not something you get everywhere.

Been coming here for years. The new look is much brighter and cleaner, which is a nice change. Had the fish and chips today, still as good as ever. Just feels a bit more pleasant to sit in now.

Popped in for lunch. Got the dirty fries with chilli and cheese. Ate them outside with a half Guinness. Messy but good. The old building is pretty cool inside.

Been coming here for years, and their set lunch is the reason. Always the same generous portions, proper Italian cooking. Just a relaxed, reliable meal. Service is spot on, too.

As a coeliac, I really appreciated the clear allergen labels. The gluten-free options were solid - even the bottomless fries were safe! Staff double-checked everything for me, which put my mind at ease.

Been coming here for years when I'm in Cardiff, and it's always a good, reliable curry. The food is consistently tasty. My only small note is that the chairs are a bit hard for a longer meal.

Been coming here for years, and the build-your-own noodle bowl is the reason. I always get the teriyaki prawns and duck combo. It's just consistently good, and I like having that control over the sauce. Never lets me down.

my son normally order from Stefano's for home delivery. but as it's birthday he wants to go there. so we arrived with a welcome. the service and the food was amazing. will be going back to Stefano's.

Stepped in and instantly felt like I was in a Viennese cafe. The dark wood, those classic chairs, and the soft lighting just clicked. Had a Melange coffee, which was spot on. A lovely spot to unwind.

Love the outdoor tables on Wellfield Road. Sat there on a sunny afternoon, just watching the world go by. It was so relaxed. The sun was warm, the food was nice. A really lovely spot for a slow lunch.

A really nice, clean spot. The staff were so friendly and attentive, which made the whole meal feel very relaxed. The food was tasty and looked lovely on the plate.

Had an excellent meal, as usual. The rump steak was cooked to perfection and my server, Elise, got the order spot on. Food was reasonably price and I got a loyalty stamp. Three more and I get a free main meal! The place was clean, and the salad bar well stocked. Even though it was very busy, the service didn't feel rushed and Elise was attentive but not too much so.

The chicken tikka bhuna was lovely and fresh. The onion bhajis were a real treat, too. What stood out was how comfortable the booths were – you could really settle in and enjoy the meal without feeling rushed. A very relaxed spot for a quiet dinner.

Beer was solid. Had a local bitter and a lager. Both went down easy. Ordering a second round on the app was a breeze. Quick service.

Been coming here for years, and the breakfast is always spot on. Doesn't matter how packed it gets, the eggs and bacon are consistently hot and fresh off the griddle. That kind of reliable quality keeps me coming back.

Came for a family lunch. The staff were really friendly with the kids, which was nice on a busy day. I did notice the grilled vegetables on my plate weren't as fresh as I'd hoped, a bit limp. The service itself was good though.

Service was prompt and efficient. Food arrived in under 15 minutes, which was ideal for a quick business lunch. Staff were polite and attentive without being overbearing. A solid, hassle-free experience.

Been here a few times now. The place just feels comfortable. They've got a nice, warm look going on, even the plates match the whole vibe. It's a good spot to unwind after a long day.

Portions are huge and nothing was overcooked. The salad was a nice touch.

The folk band playing was a lovely surprise. Really set a nice, relaxed mood for the meal. My fish and chips were solid, though the chips could have been a bit crisper. A nice touch for a Wednesday night.

Nice little spot tucked away from the main drag. The welcome was warm, and the coffee was spot on. Tried a slice of their homemade carrot cake - really good, moist and not too sweet. Just the right kind of place to unwind.

Walked in without a booking. The halloumi burger was solid, and they had a whole separate menu for vegan/gluten-free stuff. Good for when you're with a mixed group.

The quiz nights are a blast, and they’ve got a decent selection of local ales to enjoy while you play. Gets pretty busy though.
