The Sunday roast was lovely, especially the brisket. The beef was tender and tasted so fresh. Our waitress Gabby was really nice. A nice spot for a relaxed meal.

The Rockefeller burger was cooked well, juicy patty and the bun held up. Chips were decent. Solid choice for a quick business lunch.

Nice spot for a quiet meal. Had the steak and ale pie - proper, flaky pastry and the beef was really tender. A solid pub meal. Could have been a bit hotter when it arrived, but no big deal.

Stopped here to kill time and the lunch set was a total steal! The carbonara was so good, and my friend talked me into the banoffee pie - worth every calorie. Loved the old-school Italian feel and watching the boats. Just a really nice spot for a catch-up.

The Sunday roast deal is a steal at £10. The beef was really tender, and the chicken portion was huge. Everything came out super quick, which was nice. The place itself is quite cosy, with these big wooden tables that make it feel really relaxed.

Sunday carvery. Good roast for the price. The guy at the counter is always friendly, works hard.

Stayed a few nights. The room was clean and bright, which was perfect for us and our dog. They even had a treat box ready for him!

Chandre and Gary were attentive throughout. They checked in regularly without being intrusive, and the service was efficient. Made the evening run smoothly.

Been coming here for years. It's my go-to when the weather turns - just duck in, grab a table, and they keep the hot tea coming. That's what keeps me coming back.

Always a good time here. Grabbed a pint and a burger after work, the vibe is just right for a casual catch-up. The staff are friendly without being overbearing.

The hot pasties are the real deal here. Flaky, buttery pastry, packed with a proper meat and veg filling. Grabbed one at the bar with a pint. That's a solid lunch right there.

Had a nice evening here. The pizza was pretty good, with a decent crust, and the calamari was fine. Service was friendly, though things got a bit slow later on. A solid spot for a casual meal.

Breakfast here is a good value for the town centre. The staff are always friendly, which makes it a comfortable spot.

Angus at the bar was lovely. I always appreciate the fresh ingredients here, especially in the Blue Lagoon. You can really taste the quality. It's a nice, reliable spot for a thoughtful drink.

Been coming here for years, and their Sunday roast is always spot on. The chicken and beef are consistently hot, and the veg selection is generous. It's just a reliable, solid meal every time.

Came for a quick lunch, got the fish and chips. Portion was huge, honestly could have shared it. The chips were proper thick cut. Felt like decent value for what you get.

Found this place tucked away and the food was spot on. Their lamb curry had real depth, and the sommelier suggested a bold red that cut through the richness perfectly. A bit on the pricier side for the portions, but the pairing made it worthwhile.

Been coming here for ages, they remember my usual order without me even asking. That kind of personal touch is really nice. Makes you feel looked after, you know?

Lovely, peaceful gardens to wander through on a Sunday. The cafe's salad was a real highlight for me – so crisp and fresh, you could tell the greens were just picked. A nice, light option after a stroll. The ping pong tables are a fun touch, too.

Been coming here for years, and the staff are always so friendly. They remember my usual order, and the service is just consistently good. It's that kind of reliability that keeps me coming back.
