Nice spot by the river. The food at Travola was good, had a decent grilled fish. Parking's a hassle though, not enough spaces and you pay by the hour at Nile Point. Restrooms were clean.

The seafood cream soup and lamb chops were absolutely delicious! The staff was very accommodating, making the experience even better.

The cappuccino here is the real deal. Thick, creamy foam that holds up, and the espresso underneath has this deep, almost chocolatey bitterness. It's strong but not harsh. Really hits the spot.

Restaurant in Sofitel Cairo Nile El Gezirah

No. 15 of Must-Visit Restaurants in Cairo

Stopped in after the pyramids. Quick service, got me fed fast. The staff was nice, even brought out a small cake for my birthday. Good for a quick bite when you're tired from sightseeing.

For anyone looking for a unique dining experience, Mayrig is the place to be. The atmosphere is calming and perfect for couples, and the food is deliciously different from typical offerings.

The Nikkei menu is interesting. The tiradito clásico was great, but I wish they had a sake list to match the bold flavors.

This restaurant offers an amazing atmosphere with fantastic views, making it a perfect spot for special occasions.

Menu changes often, always something new to try. The fried banana was a nice surprise, really liked it. Good spot for a casual bite.

Perfect spot for a quick lunch. Got the kofta kabab, very hearty. Bread was fresh from the oven. Service was fast, no waiting around. Portions are big, good for the price. View of the Nile is a nice bonus.

The Belgian chocolate pancake was fantastic. But honestly, the portion felt a bit small for the price. I was still a little hungry after finishing it.

A nice spot to unwind with a view of the golf course. The sunset was pretty good. Food was decent, though the service was a bit slow that evening.

A bit pricier than other spots, but the sushi was so fresh! Perfect for a casual dinner with friends. We shared a few rolls and just chatted for hours.

The sticky pudding was just right, not too sweet. The lemon tart had a nice sharpness to it. I really liked the desserts here.

First time trying Egyptian food. The mixed bread platter with dips was a good start. Lamb main was solid. Service was efficient, place was quiet after a long day. A bit pricey for the portions, but convenient location near the museum.

The shisha by the pool was really good. The coals were managed well, the flavor lasted, and it was a nice, relaxed spot to unwind. Just what I needed after a long day.

The terrace view of the pyramids at sunset is incredible. Just a great place to unwind.

The arugula salad was great, and their wine list had some nice pairings.

The shisha was smooth and the waterfront view was so relaxing.

The vegan pizza was huge, I could barely finish my half. The crust was crispy and the toppings were fresh. Everything here is so clean, even the bathrooms.

The view was a bit blocked by boats, but honestly, the portion sizes were huge for the price. We couldn't finish everything. That's what I care about most.
