I had a meal in this restaurant, only ordered mains and vegetables as side dishes, the food was covered with garlic, it was like the chef didn't know what to do with the meat and just added something to make it taste better, but there was too much garlic and I couldn't taste it. The service was good and the restaurant looked nicely decorated.

Around the corner from the Elgin King Hotel is a great restaurant, not much signage outside, not much hype in town, but the food is amazing. The charcuterie platter is enough for 3, there are many choices of meats, a nice addition of cheese (sauce, chili, tomato sauce are all good), the pasta dishes are also good (we had seafood spaghetti and cheese gnocchi), and the desserts are delicious. They also have steaks on the grill, and a good selection of wines. (It's quiet and private.) Even if you don't live nearby, you can come with friends.

Delicious beef, authentic taste, generous portion, awesome. Hahahaha.
