The Jamaican pasty was a real treat. Flaky pastry, rich filling, perfect spice level. I'd come back just for that.

The New Orleans jazz vibe is so fun! I loved the creative mocktail I had — you could really taste the fresh muddled herbs. A nice spot for a lively catch-up.

The owner's always so welcoming, and the kebabs are spot on every time. Honestly, it's the only place I think of for a proper kebab in Cardiff now. The lamb is just cooked right, never dry.

Just your standard McDonald's. The food was okay, nothing special. Service was decent enough for a busy spot like this. It gets the job done.

Lovely food, and the prices are really fair. I was happy to see they clearly mark their vegetarian and gluten-free options. The salad greens were so fresh and crisp. It's nice to know the place supports a local charity, too.

Popped in for a sausage bap and a latte. The sausages were spot on, proper good quality. Coffee was smooth. It's my go-to for a relaxed brunch, nothing fancy but does the job well.

Food's the usual chain stuff, but Shakila was so lovely and helpful. Made our girls' catch-up way nicer!

Luis and the team were so attentive! They remembered our drink orders from last time and kept the waters topped up without us asking. Made it easy to just relax and chat with friends.

My flat white is always spot on here. The barista recommended a great local roast that paired nicely with my morning pastry.

If you're in Cardiff, you must visit the Brook Bistro! The quality of the food is outstanding, and the service is top-notch. I particularly enjoyed the fillet steak and the creatively presented Christmas pudding. It's a place I will definitely return to.
