The kayaking was great, but the real star was the cafe's chocolate scone after. Still warm, flaky with big chocolate chunks. That alone made the trip worthwhile.

Great spot for a quick bite. Hot chocolate with cream and a marshmallow hit the spot, brownie was properly gooey. Got a treat for the dog too, which is a nice touch. Service was quick, in and out in no time.

Lovely light space, stays calm even when a crowd. The creamy chicken and mushroom dish was spot on - rich but not heavy, and the roasted veg still had a bit of bite. Just what I needed for a quiet lunch.

The old church conversion is a cool idea, kept some original bits. It's a huge, clean space, which was nice for a relaxed Sunday lunch. The high ceilings make it feel really open.

Popped in for a quick tea and a slice of their carrot cake. The cake was nice, moist with a decent cream cheese frosting. It’s a solid spot for a simple, no-fuss snack when you’re already shopping.

Ordered the rib eye. It came out fast and looked nice. Honestly, it tasted really good, best steak I've had in ages. But for the price, the portion felt a bit on the smaller side.

Been coming here for years. Coffee's always solid, and I like the window seats. It's a nice place to just sit and unwind for a bit. Staff are friendly, which helps.

Ordered their afternoon tea for takeaway. A decent selection of sandwiches, scones, and cakes. Everything was fresh and tasted pretty good. Good value for the price. The scones were a bit on the dry side, but overall a nice treat.

Came here for a treat after a long walk. The milkshake was really creamy and the cake was so fresh. You could tell the ingredients were good quality. The staff were lovely too.

A proper local pub, feels like someone's front room. The Thursday quiz is a fun touch, gets a good crowd in. The landlord's chatty, makes you feel looked after.

The full English here is spot on. Everything came out piping hot, which is key. Sausages had good flavour, and the eggs were cooked just right. Tea served in a proper pot with a china cup was a nice touch. Solid breakfast.

A simple tea shop, but the vegan food is spot on. Had the laksa, full of flavour. They make everything fresh, so you do wait a bit. Their house-made kombucha was a great pairing, really cut through the richness. Solid spot for a casual lunch.

Secure parking right off the motorway. Easy for a quick stop.

Came in on a rainy day. The cakes are fresh and the variety is decent, but the portion for the price felt a bit small.

The food was really good, and the staff were so friendly. Made for a relaxed evening out.

Proper cosy Scottish pub. Staff were dead friendly, had a good chat. Felt right at home.

Service was great, they swapped the cream sauce for tomato for my allergy without any fuss. The portion was decent for the price, felt like a fair deal.

Popped in for a quick lunch. The vibe was really relaxed, staff were friendly without hovering. Had the chicken sandwich and a coffee, hit the spot and didn't break the bank.

Food was nice. I knocked over my chips and Rachel sorted it out straight away. No fuss, just got on with it. Good service.

Great spot for a quick bite. Food is homemade, coffee's good. Gets the job done.

Been coming here for years, and as a coeliac, I always ask about the fryers. They double-check every time, even remade my chips once when I wasn't sure. It's that consistency that keeps me coming back.

Solid spot. The burger was cooked just right, juicy and not overdone. Drinks were well made, service was attentive without hovering. A bit pricey for what it is, but you can tell they care about the details.

The three floors make it feel quite spacious. The booths are perfect for a quiet date, and their wine list had some lovely options to pair with the meal.
