Stopped in for a quick bite on a Tuesday. Got the midweek deal&mdash;two tapas and a drink. Food was tasty, no complaints there. Place has a cozy vibe, pretty chill for a lunch break. Service was fast enough for me. Solid spot if you&#39;re in the area and need something quick.

Ordered seven dishes plus dessert and drinks &mdash; bill came out way lower than expected. Menu&#39;s got serious variety, everything tasted solid. Proper feed for the price.

Stopped in for a pizza last week and honestly it&rsquo;s the best I&rsquo;ve had in Carlow. The dough was light, just the right amount of chew. Service was spot on too, friendly without hovering. Only thing is it&rsquo;s a bit easy to spend more than you planned, but the quality&rsquo;s there. Already thinking about when I can go back.

The cocktails at The Clink are simply amazing! I had a fab night there, and the ambiance made it even better. A must-visit for anyone looking for a great night out.

The fish and garlic potatoes were spot on. Service was quick, which I appreciate at lunch. New spot on the main street is bright and roomy. Solid choice in Gorey.

The steak was cooked exactly right again, and those wings with blue cheese are still my favourite thing on the menu.

Slightly on the pricey side, but you can see where the money goes. Comfortable seating too, which always helps. Wouldn&#39;t mind coming back here again sometime.

The place has really good natural light and the seats are actually comfortable, which is rare for a coffee spot. I grabbed a pastry and it was decent. Didn&#39;t try the hot food this time, but I&#39;ve heard it&#39;s a bit hit or miss. Nice spot to just sit for a while though.

The beer garden here is a proper sun trap, catches the light from lunch right through to evening. Managed to grab a decent spot without a mad scramble for seating. Pizzas were solid, but I was more taken with the wine list, a nice glass of something cold really sorted me out. Relaxed spot for an afternoon, no complaints.

The carbonara schnitzel was a fun twist&mdash;creamy sauce over a crispy cutlet, worked better than I expected. Trout was fresh, cooked just right. Truffle hash browns stole it though, proper crispy without being drowned in oil. Place was busy but we got seated quick enough. Would go back for those hash browns alone.

The shakshuka had real depth&mdash;tomatoes properly reduced, eggs still runny in the middle. That&rsquo;s the main thing I remember. Place was busy for a weekday morning, but service kept up fine. No complaints about the coffee either. Solid breakfast option if you&rsquo;re in the area and don&rsquo;t want to queue for the usual tourist spots.

The pistachio basque cheesecake was properly good &mdash; rich and creamy. Small spot, so there&#39;s a bit of a wait, but fine for a quick stop.

The vegan cherry chocolate cake is properly good&mdash;rich but not too sweet, you can tell they put effort in. Just wish they&#39;d add a few more vegan bits to the menu.
