Food's solid, but honestly, the service is what stuck with me. Adrian and Lupita were just so on top of things. The walnut cream cheese is a must, though.

The line was out the door, but they still got my latte and croissant out super fast. I like grabbing a seat by the big window when I can.

The remodel is a huge upgrade, way more inviting. I'm all about those fish tacos now - the crispy batter and fresh slaw are just right. Our server Victor was super on top of things too.

Been coming to Carpinteria for years and finally tried Esau's. The line out the door was worth it. Owner Justin was even helping serve orders.

This place is a solid find. The steak and eggs were cooked just right, seasoned well. The jalapeño bacon had a nice kick without being too much. Strawberry waffles were good, fresh berries. I'd come back for that breakfast.

The custom cake we ordered for our office event was spot on. Design matched our logo perfectly, and the price was fair. Good option for corporate needs.

Elegant setting, perfect for a special occasion. The patio ambiance is truly unmatched. Had a business dinner here last week. Service was efficient, and the location was convenient for our team.

I was skeptical about the vegan burger, but the buckwheat bun was a nice touch. The server suggested a local IPA to cut through the richness, and it worked. A solid choice for a casual bite.

Been coming here for years, and the Caesar salad with extra shrimp is always fresh and tasty. The staff is friendly, makes you feel at home.

Been here a few times. Mark and Candace are always on top of things, really good service. The mimosas are a nice touch. Food is consistently fresh. It's a solid local spot.

The cinnamon rolls here are pretty good. They're homemade and always taste fresh. A decent spot for a sweet treat.

Presentation is on point, but the flavors are what really stand out. Had the grilled octopus and the sea bass - both cooked perfectly. A solid choice for a business dinner.

Nice to see sourdough discard used in some of their baked goods. It's a thoughtful option for those of us with sensitivities.

I lived right across from Home Plate Grill during my UCSB days. Their breakfast burrito was my go-to—always packed with perfectly scrambled eggs and crispy hash browns. Really bummed they closed down.

Ordered takeout, service was prompt. Cheeseburger was solid, well-seasoned. Wine list is extensive, which is a plus for a quick meal spot. Convenient for a weeknight dinner.

The goat cheese and brie were a highlight for me. Really enjoyed the cocktails too, they had some interesting twists. Friendly service made it a chill spot to hang.

Came here for brunch with friends. The breakfast burrito was solid, and the view from the patio was perfect for catching up. A bit of a wait for a table, but worth it for the vibe.

Been coming here for years. The staff is always on top of things, even on a packed Friday night. Our server tonight was quick, knew the menu, and gave a solid tip on the special. That kind of reliable service keeps me coming back.

The crab cake sandwich was the real standout for me. The patty was so fresh and crispy, and the sauce had a nice little kick. Everyone at our table kept stealing bites of it!

Been coming here for years, and the soups never disappoint. Had the spicy beef noodle today - broth was rich, noodles had a nice chew. Perfect spot when you just need a solid, no-fuss meal.

Fun spot for a group hangout! The music was great, and the staff even did a little dance number at one point. 😄 Made the whole night feel like a party. Just a heads up, it does get pretty loud in there.

Been coming here for years. Food's always solid, and the place has a nice vibe. But lately, some of the plates feel a bit small for what they charge. Still, you're paying for the quality, I guess.

As a celiac, it's a relief to have a 100% gluten-free kitchen. Their house-baked bread makes the sandwiches really solid.

The squid ink paella really caught my eye. That rice had a deep, savory flavor I haven't had elsewhere. Seafood was spot-on, not rubbery at all. A solid choice for something different.

Came here for brunch with my girlfriends. The avocado toast with almond sunflower spread was so good! The vibe is cozy and perfect for catching up. We ended up staying way longer than planned.
