Stopped in for a drink before heading up&mdash;the bar had live music, decent buzz but quiet enough upstairs. John&rsquo;s team were sound, made us feel properly looked after. Had a nice glass of red with the seafood chowder, worked well together. One of the better spots in Newport, no fuss.
