The fish and chips were solid - crispy batter, decent portion. The cheesecake was a nice finish. Service was efficient, which I appreciate for a quick business lunch. Location is convenient for the office.

The sea bass special was so good! Really fresh and flavourful. We had to wait a bit for it, but that's fine when you're catching up with friends. Perfect for a relaxed dinner.

The menu has more variety than most fish and chip places. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

Walked in without a reservation on a Tuesday evening. Staff found us a table without fuss. Orders were taken promptly, food came out in good time. Efficient service made for a straightforward business dinner.

Popped in for a quick bite. The panini was solid, and the side salad was actually interesting – had some grains and herbs in it, not just lettuce. Good for a light lunch.

Good spot to get some work done. Spacious, plenty of tables. Found one with a power outlet. The view from here is really something.

The vegan sausages were really well made, fresh ingredients you can taste. The beans had a nice texture too, not mushy at all. A solid choice for a healthier option. The fish and chips at the next table did look good though, maybe next time.

A solid find for the road. The garlic mushrooms were spot on, and the house red was a surprisingly good match for them.

Been coming here for years, and the staff are always so friendly. They remember my usual order, makes it feel like a proper local spot. Only thing - sometimes you have to wait a bit to settle up if it's busy. Still, that's a small price for the consistent welcome.

I enjoyed a lovely lunch at The Hive with good-sized portions and delicious food. Definitely a place to visit if you're in the area.

The chips are so good! Thick and fluffy inside, and they don't even need salt. Perfect for sharing with friends.

The beer list is solid, a few local ales and some decent ciders. Prices are fair. It's a short walk from the main area, nothing too far. The stout was particularly good, smooth and roasty.

Decent roadside cafe, does the job. Had their all-day breakfast, and the portion was huge - couldn't finish it all. That's what you want from a truck stop. Prices are fair for the amount you get.

Grabbed fish and chips here before heading to the beach. The location is spot on, just a short walk away. Perfect for a casual bite with friends before a seaside stroll. The chips were nice and crispy! 🍟

Been coming here for years. Their fish and chips are always spot on, never greasy. The mushy peas are a must.

The pizza here is really good, fresh dough and tasty toppings. What stood out was how comfortable the booths were, perfect for a relaxed meal. Service was friendly without being overbearing. Just a nice, easy spot for a casual dinner.

Came for a quick lunch, the milkshakes really do look incredible. Got a chocolate one, it was huge and only £4.50. That’s a proper portion for the price. The food menu looked decent too, might try a sandwich next time.

The chai tea is really nice, and the coffee is pretty good too. I usually get the breakfast wrap with sweet potato fries - it's a decent meal. The place can get a bit busy on weekends though.

The gluten-free fish and chips were a nice surprise. Batter was crispy, not heavy at all. Sausages and curry sauce were also gluten-free, which is handy. Portion was decent for the price.

The Sunday roast was the main event. The beef was tender, and the gravy had a nice depth. Plenty of roast potatoes and veg, all properly hot. The chocolate fudge cake to finish was good, rich without being too sweet.
