Came with a few mates for the Sunday roast. The lamb was spot on, really tender. Good size plate for what we paid. Nice spot for a casual catch-up.

The cafe has a nice, tidy vibe. I had a good English breakfast tea and they offer a decent selection of alternative milks. Service was friendly, though the place was a bit busy.

Been coming here for 12 years now. The quality never slips. Had the grilled sea bass last night and it was just as fresh and perfectly cooked as always. That consistency is why I keep coming back.

Grabbed takeaway here last night. The place is spotless and feels really tidy, which I appreciate when I'm just popping in for a quick bite. Makes the whole thing a bit more pleasant.

Been coming here for years. The heated outdoor bit is a real plus when it's chilly. Inside still feels like a proper local pub, not trying too hard.

Breakfast has some creative options, not just the usual fry-up. Nespresso in the room is a handy perk for a quick start.

Nice dessert selection, including vegan options. You can customise your own sundaes and waffles.

Food came out quick. Tasty, the lamb shank was tender and the sauce had a nice depth. Could've used a bit more seasoning on the veg, but the main event was solid.

The mixed grill was huge and the steak was spot on. Their house red was a decent match for it, not too pricey.

The staff are genuinely lovely. They accidentally gave me the wrong matcha but sorted it out so quickly and kindly. It felt like a proper neighbourhood spot, not just a cafe.

Came in with a nut allergy. Staff were super careful, double-checked everything for me. Felt safe the whole time. 👍

The latte was good, but the strawberries and cream dessert was the highlight. The strawberries tasted so fresh and sweet, really made the dish. My daughter's toastie was fine.

Been going here for years. The lunch buffet is still a solid deal. Food's always hot, tastes like it's just been cooked. Portions are decent, never had a bad meal.

The place is so bright and airy with all the windows. Really comfortable for a relaxed meal. The tables are nicely spaced, which I always appreciate.

Friendly staff, they really make you feel welcome. The cafe itself is spotless, which is nice. Had a decent coffee and a slice of cake, nothing fancy but a solid spot for a quick stop.

Came with a big group of friends last Friday. The staff handled our table so well, no one felt rushed even though we stayed ages just chatting. Made it easy to catch up properly.

The owner is a lovely guy, really makes you feel welcome. The place is spotless, which is a big plus for me. Had the grilled chicken, it was juicy and well-seasoned. A solid, no-fuss meal.

Busy spot on Chatham high street. Staff were friendly, no complaints there. Had the fish and chips. Batter was crisp, chips decent. A bit pricey for what it is, but fine for a quick lunch.

Friendly team and the place is always spotless. I keep coming back for their matcha latte - it's got that perfect earthy sweetness without being too bitter. Just a nice, calm spot to unwind.

The chatpate here is the real deal. Spicy, tangy, with that perfect crunch from the puffed rice and sev. Their momos are solid too, the jhol version has a really fragrant, herby broth. You don't see these specific Nepalese items on many menus.

The new vegan doughnut is a solid addition. Good texture, not too sweet.

Trip Gourmet Awards

The food of course, but the staff, just outstanding. Went above and beyond, were extraordinarily kind and thoughtful and they really made the experience a 10/10, worth the price, worth it all. Just prepare yourself to eat A LOT.
