Love the vibe here, feels like stepping back in time. The old newspaper building is full of character. My burger was solid, cooked just right. A downtown staple for a reason.

Server was super nice, kept checking if we needed anything. The manager even stopped by our table. Felt like they actually cared.

The staff here is just so nice. We stopped in on a quiet afternoon, and they were really sweet to our kids. Made the whole lunch feel relaxed.

I was in the area for an appointment and needed a quick, healthy bite. The avocado toast really hit the spot—the bread was whole grain and the avocado was perfectly ripe and fresh. Just what I was looking for.

Solid spot for veggie options. The Korean cauliflower wings were crispy and flavorful. Vegan Cobb salad had good portions and fresh ingredients. Menu clearly marks dietary choices.

Our server really made the night. She knew the menu inside out, never let our glasses get empty, and timed everything just right. We never felt rushed. It was a nice, easy dinner.

Busy Saturday but they handled our big group well. The breakfast burrito was solid, though the potatoes were a bit dry.

Service was friendly and efficient. Food was pretty good for the price, and the place was clean. A solid choice for a casual meal.

My wife has a dairy allergy, and she was actually excited looking at the menu here. So many options she could have. Took her forever to decide, which is a good problem to have. The food was solid.

The outdoor seating on Franklin Street is really nice. The atmosphere inside is cozy and historic, which makes it feel welcoming.

The pulled pork sandwich was fresh and satisfying. I really liked the space - it’s got a rustic, open feel with high ceilings and wooden tables. Felt comfortable just hanging out for a bit after eating.

The veggie dishes here are actually really good. Not just a token salad, they put effort into them. Portions are decent for the price point, which is a nice surprise. I'd come back for that alone.

Been coming here for years. The churrasco steak is always cooked just right, never had a bad one. It's my go-to order.

The steak frites was pretty good, cooked just right and tender. The French onion soup was also decent. Service was a bit slow, but the food made up for it.

Been coming here for years. It's got that classic, down-home feel I like. Walls are covered in old photos, gives it a real sense of place. Just a comfortable spot to grab a bite.

The breakfast was really nice. I appreciated how fresh the ingredients felt, especially the avocado and tomatoes in my scramble. The atmosphere was relaxed, which was perfect for a slow morning. Our server Taye was very helpful and knew the menu well.

Hibachi portions are huge and fresh. Sushi presentation is also on point. Good spot for Japanese in Durham.

The squid ink pasta was pretty good. Homemade noodles had a nice chew, and the grouper and shrimp were fresh. The space is comfortable and the service was fine. Prices seemed fair. A solid spot for Italian.

Our server was so sweet and attentive. She noticed it was our anniversary and brought out a little dessert on the house. That personal touch really made the evening.

Bryan was super friendly and attentive. He noticed we were sharing plates and brought extra ones without us asking. Really made the meal feel relaxed and easy.

Been coming here for years. The BBQ is always solid, and honestly, the price for what you get keeps me coming back. You leave full without feeling like you overspent. That's getting harder to find.

Simple spot, but the food is the star. Had the fried chicken and collard greens. Chicken was crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. Greens had that slow-cooked flavor with just the right touch of smoke. That's the real deal.

Been coming here for years. Their fiocchi pasta is the reason I keep coming back. The texture is always spot on, and that sauce... it's just consistently good. Even during Restaurant Week, it's the star of the show.

Been here a few times. The Kobe beef is solid, cooked just right. Service is professional, no fuss. It’s a reliable spot for a quiet dinner.

If you're into whiskey, this is the spot. The bartender pointed me to a really cool Japanese single malt I'd never tried before. Not cheap, but totally worth it for the pour. They know their stuff here.

Came here for a first date. The low lighting was just right—fancy enough to feel a bit special, but still super relaxed. Didn't feel stuffy at all.

Stromboli was solid, no leaks. That's a win. The place is clean, no frills. I'd go back for a quick slice.

The bourbon chicken was really good. I liked that the service was friendly and they didn't rush us at all.

I stop by often, the miso soup is my go-to. The sushi rolls are always fresh and nicely presented. It does get packed, but the servers are really friendly and keep things moving. A comfortable spot for a reliable meal.

Decent portions for the price, especially downtown. The lunch specials are a solid deal. Had the grilled chicken plate today, it was cooked right and came with a good amount of sides.
