The chocolate banana cream pie is a standout. Real banana chunks, and the crust is so flaky. Just a cozy spot to enjoy a slice.

Solid lunch spot. The bento box is a great deal for a quick bite. Everything's neat, and the fried pieces are just the right size to eat fast. Perfect for a 30-minute lunch break.

The pho broth is pretty good, one of the best around. The rare beef is decent quality and portions are generous.

Curry's my usual order here. The sauce is thick and really flavourful, chicken's always tender. Good portion for the price. Staff are nice.

Been coming here for years. The staff always remembers my usual order, and they're just so friendly without being overbearing. It's that consistency that keeps me coming back.

Been coming here for years, always reliable. The Blue Buck is a solid choice. What keeps me coming back is how fresh the ingredients feel in their dishes, especially the salads. You can tell they use quality produce. It just makes the meal more enjoyable.

Decent breakfast and dinner, generous portions. The margarita with fresh lime was a highlight.

The harbour view is gorgeous, especially at sunset. I had the seared scallops, and the sommelier suggested a crisp white that paired perfectly. A bit pricey, but the wine selection made it worth it.

The smoked salmon benny here is my go-to. The hollandaise is just the right amount of tangy, and the salmon is super fresh. Generous portions too, I was stuffed! The roast chicken is also solid.

The frozen cakes are the main draw here. I tried the mango cheesecake, and the texture was spot on - creamy but not heavy. The fruit flavor came through clearly. They have a good selection of those.

Busy spot but they keep things moving. Got my order in minutes, food was piping hot. Just what you need for a quick lunch. Cozy vibe too.

Stumbled in for breakfast and the vibe is spot on—bright, fun, just like my favourite local spots. The food totally matches. Had the avocado toast with perfectly poached eggs, and it hit the spot. ☀️ A solid find.

The crab cakes were the standout. Really good texture, lots of crab meat, not too much filler. The chowder was decent, a bit on the salty side for my taste. That's pretty much it for me.

Been coming here for years. Classic fish and chips, done right. No frills, just solid food. Feels like a proper local spot.

They've got that TripAdvisor award on the wall for a reason. The service was so on point for our girls' night.

Loved the colourful, fun decor here. Our server was really nice and attentive throughout the whole meal, which made everything feel relaxed and easy. The food was very good, too. A really pleasant spot for a laid-back dinner.

Grabbed a seat at the bar on a packed night. The wood-fired oven show is pretty cool to watch while you eat. It's a cozy, clean spot, good for a date. Noise level was fine, not too loud. Pizza was decent, but nothing crazy special.

The tofu and fresh noodles were really fresh, and the peanut sauce had a nice kick without being too spicy. Good balance of flavors.

The view from the patio is just stunning. We sat there for hours, watching the boats and the sunset over Cowichan Bay. It really made the whole evening.

Chef John's cooking really stands out. The halibut was cooked just right, and the sauce had a nice depth. Felt like a Michelin-level meal. The atmosphere was spot on, too. A bit pricey, but you can tell where the effort goes.

Lived nearby for a while, so this was my regular noodle spot. The vibe is just right – not too loud, and the booths are comfy. Still think about their beef noodle soup now that I've moved.

Came with a group of five. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share and it worked out pretty well. The space itself is nicely done, feels relaxed. Food was solid, everyone left happy.

Dog-friendly patio, nice for a chill drink. Not too touristy, which is a plus.

Stopped by for takeout on a road trip. The crunchy tuna roll and sashimi were fresh, but the deep-fried chicken skins stole the show. So crispy and savory, not greasy at all. A nice surprise!

The prawns were the standout. They were plump, sweet, and had a nice snap to them. The duck was decent, but a bit on the dry side. The wonton soup broth was flavorful. Trays were kept full, which was good.

The veggie burger was pretty good, tasted surprisingly meaty. Decent gluten-free options too.

Been coming here for years. The burgers are pretty good, and it's a decent spot to grab an early bite when the mall is still quiet.

The portions are generous, which is nice. I just wish there were more fresh vegetable options to balance the meal.
