The view of the cathedral from the patio is honestly the main reason to come. Empanadas with pickled onions were the best thing we ordered. Poc-chuk tacos felt a bit flat though, could've used more heat. Prices are high for what you get, but the setting kind of makes up for it. 🌮

Came here with a couple friends and honestly the tacos were pretty solid 🌮 staff was super friendly, took time to walk us through the menu. just a heads up, the veggie stuff isn't obvious at all—you gotta ask for the meat-free version. also it's cash only so don't forget. good spot for a casual hangout though.

The pistachio gelato was really smooth, creamy without that heavy sugar hit you get other places. You can just tell theyre using natural stuff. I only stopped by for a quick scoop but honestly couldve sat there longer. Service was nice too, didnt rush me at all.

The handmade tortillas right in front of you are the best part. Small place, kinda jungle vibe outside. Nice spot if you're in the area.

Came for the vegan bowl, honestly wasn’t expecting much for the price. It was actually pretty good though—fresh, filling, and not bland like most places. Menu’s got some classic regional stuff too, but I stuck with what I came for. Place is simple, no frills, but it works. Wouldn’t mind coming back if I’m in the area again.

The mango margaritas were the highlight for sure. Mole had good depth, cochinita was tender. Service kept checking on us, maybe a bit much but they meant well.

The buffet had some good local options, tamales and lime soup were nice. Traditional music made it fun. Just watch out, drinks aren't included and they add up fast. Bring pesos, the exchange rate is rough.

Stopped by for lunch at the plaza spot. Got the agua fresca jug and honestly it was the move—big enough for the whole table. Food was solid, nothing crazy but tasty. Portions are generous too. Fine if you're hungry and nearby.

Cocktails were solid, just a little pricey for what you get. Service was quick and friendly though. Good spot to grab a drink and chill.

Stopped by for the lunch buffet and honestly it’s a solid deal. Lots of meat and salad options, plus the dance show was fun to watch with friends. Bathrooms were clean too, just wish they had AC 😅

The huevos motuleños at brunch were really good, and Rodrigo took care of us perfectly. The place looks gorgeous, kinda wanna try the casitas next time I'm around.

Stopped here before the Mayan ruins. Solid Yucatan classics, quick service, fair price. Nothing fancy but it hit the spot.

The papaya in syrup was the standout—light, cinnamon and clove came through nicely. Chef even mentioned a fig leaf in the pot. Good presentation, fair price for the area.

The chicken burrito was the best I had in Mexico, and the poc chuc was amazing. The pina con chaya juice is a must-try. Romantic vibe, friendly staff, and fair prices.

The guajillas with red tomato sauce are still my go-to here. Good vegan options and the staff remembers you after a few visits. They even threw in a free tequila shot last time.

Stopped by for a late lunch and grabbed a table near the window. Ravioli was solid, tagliatelle even better—simple, fresh pasta, no complaints. Waiter knew his stuff, even helped me pick a decent red to go with the ragu. Place was quiet at that hour, which made it easy to linger. Wouldn't mind coming back for an evening round.

Food was decent for what we paid—nothing crazy, but it hit the spot. I ordered a glass of red with my meal and honestly, that pairing saved the whole experience. Just don't be in a hurry if you get delivery; it took a while to show up. Fine for a casual night in.

Fair prices and solid home-style cooking. It's a no-frills place, more like a street food stand with a few tables, but everything we ordered was flavorful. I had a beer with the tacos al pastor—nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. Service was quick, though the seating's tight. Good enough for a casual bite.

The waiter actually took time to explain the menu and even taught us a few Spanish words. That alone made the experience better than just eating. Food was decent, but honestly the service carried it. Bill came out fair for what we got. Not a place I'd go out of my way for, but if you're nearby, it's fine.

The mole tacos are still as good as the first time I came here. Sauce is rich, chicken's tender. They even threw in a little complimentary something extra. That's why I keep coming back.

The no-sugar margarita was a nice surprise. Fresh ingredients for sure, felt good about what I was eating. Music was calm for a lunch spot.

The mole on those enchiladas was seriously good, deep and rich. Prices are fair for the amount of food you get. Empanadas were solid too. Place is pretty bare-bones inside, not much to look at, but the flavors are what matter. I'd go back for that mole again.

The garden seating is so pretty, especially with the pink petals falling everywhere 🌸 Breakfast was chill and quiet, and that free bread with butter was a nice touch. My avocado toast was solid.

Came here twice while staying in Piste. The cochinita pibil was so good, and the ladies running it were super sweet. Just a heads up, it gets a bit chaotic with the vendors around. 😅

The panuchos were decent and the sopa de lima hit the spot after walking around the ruins all morning. Portions felt fair for what you pay, especially compared to the touristy joints closer to the entrance. Just wish they'd drained the oil a bit better, got a little greasy halfway through. Still, I left full without feeling ripped off.

Big breakfast before the ruins hit the spot. Got the Cubana and a hibiscus drink—plenty of food for the price. English menu made ordering easy. Service was quick too.
