Friendly staff handled our large order well. The steak with blue cheese sauce was solid, paired with a local lager.

Lovely cozy pub. The live music on Friday was a nice touch. What really stood out for me was the freshness of the ingredients in their ploughman's lunch. The cheese was sharp and the pickles had a real crunch. A simple, well-made plate.

Solid pub classics and some more refined options too. The portions are generous, and you can tell they use fresh ingredients. I really appreciated how comfortable the seating was - not something you always find. Made for a relaxed meal.

The pretzel with rarebit dip is a solid snack with a pint. The bubble and squeak balls had a nice jalapeño kick.

The apple Tarte Tatin was a nice finish. I appreciated the generous portion, and the ice cream was a good match. The apples still had a bit of texture, which I always look for—means they're fresh and not overcooked. A solid choice if you want something sweet but not too heavy.

Bella was great at lunch. The chefs singing happy birthday was a nice touch.

The ingredients in their pad thai tasted really fresh, which is so important to me. A solid choice for a healthy takeaway.

Butter chicken takeaway had a good amount of chicken, really tasty. The naan was excellent too, soft and warm. Solid choice for a quick dinner.

I haven't been to the Fishers Pond so this was a trip back in time. The setting is still as I remember, obviously the staff and menu wasn't going to be the same but I wasn't disappointed, the menu provides a variety of dishes and the roast which we chose was probably one of the best i have had. As for the staff, friendly and efficient, so big 10/10 to all!

Service was really good, they were attentive without being overbearing. Online payment was a breeze, which is always a plus. The food came out fresh and hot.

Really clean and tidy when we popped in, perfect for a casual catch-up with friends.

Papadoms came out warm and crispy. The chutneys were fresh, each with its own distinct flavour. Really liked the mint one.

Busy Saturday night, but the staff were really on it. Tried the mixed grill clay pot and the Khasiko Masu lamb – both were spot on. The lamb in particular was cooked just right, really tender. A solid meal.

Food came out fast, staff were really nice. The grilled chicken was juicy, but the chips could've been crispier. Solid spot for a quick, no-fuss meal.

Been a regular for years. The quality is always spot on, never had a bad meal.

Lovely little spot, feels like a warm hug. The staff were super friendly, really made us feel at home. Had a nice, relaxed lunch here.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, giving us great tips on what to see nearby. It really felt like the heart of the neighbourhood.

Been coming here for years, and it's always well-stocked with Isle of Wight products. Nice to know the shop supports the Abbey.

Love how much space there is here! Plenty of tables inside and out. It's perfect for catching up with a group - you never feel cramped. You order at the counter and they bring it over. Staff were really nice.

Great spot by the seafront. Drinks are cheap and they've got a massive selection.

Stumbled upon this cosy spot in Shanklin. The wine list really impressed me - found a lovely local white that paired beautifully with my fish. Staff were friendly, food was tasty. A solid meal.

Booked for three nights, right on the Shanklin seafront which was ideal. Ate in the restaurant each evening. The portions were really generous for the price, which was a pleasant surprise. My partner and I both had the fish and chips one night – very filling. Good value for a seaside stay.

Huge portions here, perfect for a quick bite. The seafood platter is massive, easily enough for two. They even threw in a free bottle of wine. Got in and out fast during my lunch break.

The chicken and ham hock pie was a proper, hearty dish. I had it with a glass of their house red, which cut through the richness nicely. A solid choice for a cold evening.

The Full Monty burger here is a proper feed. Had it for a takeaway last night, it's massive. Couldn't finish the extra portion of chips we'd ordered. Solid choice in Shanklin if you're really hungry.

A very clean spot, and the staff were so friendly. The service made the whole meal feel relaxed and easy.

The QR code ordering was a lifesaver on match day. No waiting at the bar, just scanned and got my burger and pint. The system didn’t glitch once even with the place packed. So handy.

The unlimited pizza deal is solid. The dough balls were warm and comforting. Emily, our server, kept checking in with a genuine smile, which really made the evening. A nice, relaxed vibe.

Food was tasty and portions were generous. The staff were really friendly too, made it a nice spot for a casual catch-up.
