The spiced apple drink is a good option if you're not having coffee. It's warm and hits the spot on a chilly day. A bit sweet for my taste, but that's just me.

Been here a few times over the years. The view across the Solent is still the main draw for me. Sat by the window last Saturday, just had a simple fish and chips. It's a good spot for a quiet, no-fuss lunch by the water.

Service is consistently efficient, even on a busy Friday night. They kept things moving nicely. My main course arrived a little sooner than I'd expected, but it was still a decent meal.

The hot and sour soup was just right, not too fiery. The satay and soupy noodles were good, but the duck was a bit dry for my taste.

Been coming here for years whenever I'm on the island. It's the consistency that keeps me coming back. You can always rely on a decent pint and a friendly chat at the bar. It just feels like a proper local.

The loaded fries with steak were a proper feed. The chips were crispy, the steak bits were tender, and the whole thing was just a bit messy in the best way. My dog was chuffed with his free sausage too. Solid spot.

Been coming here for years, and those fresh doughnuts are the reason. Always get the Biscoff one. It's just a simple, consistent little spot that feels like a mini beach escape.

The lady at the counter was so lovely, really made us feel welcome. It's that genuine friendliness you don't see everywhere. The whole place just had a nice, easy vibe. We'll be back for sure.

A cosy, clean spot. Staff were friendly, took time to explain the menu which was appreciated. The wine list was decent, found a nice bottle that went well with our mains. Good for a family meal, though the tables are a bit close together.

Good range of authentic Nepalese dishes alongside the usual curries. The wine list had some interesting pairings that worked well with the spices.

The vegetarian menu is impressive. I really liked how fresh the ingredients were in every dish.

Friendly staff. They actually remembered I overpaid last time and refunded it. Didn't have to ask. That's pretty decent.

Great spot for a quick bite. The wine list is solid, had a nice glass with my lunch. Chris is a pro, service was smooth and fast. Got me in and out without any fuss.

The lamb portion was massive, honestly. So much meat on the plate, plus a decent salad and all the extras. Quick service, just what you want for lunch. Felt like really good value for what you pay.

The sandwiches are solid, and it's a bonus they're dog-friendly. Good spot on the High Street.

Came here for a quiet lunch. The wine list was decent, a few nice options. Service was good, they left us to it which was nice. Just felt the prices were a bit steep for a weekday lunch, especially in the off-season.

The staff were so friendly, made us feel right at home. They had a live band playing, which was a nice touch for a relaxed evening. Noticed they had a cash machine outside too, handy for splitting the bill. A pleasant spot for a casual night out.

Simple food done right. The breakfast brioche was spot on. Also tried the vegan bap - really generous portion and the ingredients tasted super fresh. That's what you want.

The staff are really friendly and always seem to remember us. It's a nice touch that makes the place feel welcoming. Service was a bit slower than usual on our last visit, but overall it's a pleasant spot.

Been coming here for years, and the Ultimate Eggs Benedict is why. That half portion with sausage, mushrooms, and proper chips is always spot on. Just hits the spot every single time.

Got a table as a walk-in on a busy night, which was a win. Staff were quick and friendly. Food came out fast. Exactly what you need when you just want a quick bite and don't have time to wait around.

Dog-friendly spot, which is a plus. Food's solid for the price. Had the fish and chips, crispy batter and decent portion. Service was quick and friendly. Nothing fancy, but does the job well.

First time here and the gluten-free menu is massive. Had the Full English, came out steaming hot. Coffee was spot on.

Portions are huge, the small chips could feed two. The wine list had some decent local options that paired well with the hearty food. Good value for money, though the place gets quite loud later on.

Booked for nine last minute on a Friday, and they squeezed us in. The portions were huge, everything tasted fresh. Staff were really friendly. Made for a nice birthday dinner.

The beef was tender and the chicken in breadcrumbs was solid. The sweet and sour sauce did get a bit thick as it cooled, but they had a nice house red that paired well with both.

As a coeliac, I’m used to just seeing a brownie on the menu. Here, I actually had a choice of three cakes. Went for the lemon drizzle with a pot of tea. Proper slice, too. Felt like a normal afternoon out for once.

Don't let the plain front put you off. The chips were spot on - crispy outside, fluffy inside, and clearly just cooked. That's what I came for. The rest of the meal was fresh, simple, and hit the spot.
