Loved the vibe here! Perfect spot for a casual catch-up with mates. The pizzas were seriously good - super fresh and the crust was just right. Service was spot on, friendly but not in your face. Will definitely be back for more.

Been coming here for years, and their rotating tap list is the main reason. The London Black stout is a regular favourite, goes down a treat with the Sunday roast. Always something new to try, keeps it interesting.

Came across this place by chance. No TVs, no loud music. Just a quiet pub where you can actually hear your friends talk. A real find.

The katsu curry portion is decent for the price. Soju drinks are nice too.

Really nice staff here, super friendly. The portions are massive too - my friend and I shared a main and still had leftovers. Good value for money, honestly.

Been coming here for years, it’s just a solid local spot. The lamb curry is always spot on, rich and not too heavy. Service is quick, they remember my usual. Prices haven’t gone crazy either.

The avocado mozzarella salad was a lovely fresh start. Felt like a little Italian escape in the middle of the city.

A pretty good meal. The chowder was rich and the mussels were a real standout. Scallops were cooked nicely, too. Service was attentive, though the place did get a bit loud later on. A solid spot for seafood.

Popped in for a late lunch. The lasagne was clearly homemade, really hit the spot. Place was spotless and quiet, which was nice for a change. Just a solid, simple meal.

Been coming here for years, and the welcome is always spot on. Even on a busy Saturday, they found us a table without a fuss. That’s what keeps me coming back.

The wine pairings really stood out. Each glass was chosen to match the food, not just to be impressive. It felt thoughtful, like they actually cared about the experience. Made the whole meal click.

Came back for the lunch special. The beef stew had a deep, slow-cooked flavour, with carrots that were soft but not mushy. The gravy was rich, maybe a touch salty for some, but it soaked into the mash perfectly. That's what brought me back.

Nice spot by the water. The vibe is really good. Had the grilled fish, looked great on the plate and tasted good too. A bit pricey for what it is, but a solid meal.

Nice modern spot, feels cozy. Sat in the main area, noise level was just right for a relaxed dinner. Good creative vibe in the room.

The atmosphere at The Red Lion is very welcoming, and the staff, especially Andy and Charlotte, are attentive and friendly, making it a perfect spot for a casual meal or special celebration.

Rob was a good server, friendly and chatty. He took the nut allergy very seriously which was appreciated. The vegan teriyaki chicken was pretty tasty. A solid meal overall.

The Samui Prawns were the star for me. Really fresh, cooked just right so they were still juicy. The flavour was spot on. That dish alone made the visit worthwhile.

Cosy spot with a great relaxed vibe. Perfect for a lazy Sunday brunch with mates. We grabbed a table outside in the sun and it was just lovely. The outdoor seating really makes it.

Been coming here for years. Always get the same thing, and it’s always spot on. Quick, tasty, and the staff are sound. My go-to for a reliable lunch.

Even on a busy Friday, they moved the queue along quickly. The service was prompt, which was a relief. I appreciated the contactless payment option - made settling the bill for my wine and the small plates a breeze.

Been coming here for years, food's usually spot on. But last week the roast chicken was a bit dry and bland. They sorted it out quick, no fuss.

Perfect for a big group - our table of 20 was handled well. The kebbeh was crispy and the chicken was juicy. Portions are huge.
