Tahmid was a really friendly waiter. The margarita pizza was classic, and we didn't wait long. But for the price, the portion felt a bit small. I was still a little hungry afterwards.

Managed to get a last-minute table, which was a nice surprise. The star for me was the grilled octopus - perfectly tender with a smoky char. Portion was a bit smaller than expected, but the flavour was spot on.

The fish and chips was a proper portion, cooked fresh to order. Really hit the spot.

Fried monkfish and the steak were both solid choices. It does get quite busy, so expect a wait. Sat outside on a sunny afternoon - that was a plus.

Had the Sunday roast here. Properly cooked beef, generous portion of veg and a huge Yorkshire pudding. The old building is lovely, bit drafty by the window though. Solid lunch.

Came here with a few friends last Friday. It's a small, cosy spot, really intimate. We ended up staying for hours just chatting, the vibe is so relaxed. The lighting is just right for a proper catch-up.

Menu's got a proper veggie/vegan section. Portions are huge. My plate looked like a photo.

Jimmy the owner is super friendly. I asked for a slight change to the pasta dish and he sorted it out no problem. That kind of willingness to accommodate a small request makes a difference. Portions were decent for the price, so felt like a fair deal overall.

Tasting menu was the highlight. Each course looked great and packed flavour. The 'Price is Wight' special was good value for the quality.

Love how this place transitions through the day. Had a coffee and a croissant in the morning, then came back for a late lunch and a cocktail on the sunny terrace. The vibe just shifts perfectly.

Stumbled in after the lighthouse walk. They had a table for us, no booking needed. The fish and chips were spot on, and that homemade tartar sauce really worked. The live jazz was a nice touch, made the place feel cosy. A solid pint of ale alongside it all, just right.

My friend and I have been here for lunch before. A lovely pub, excellent staff and exceptional food and service. Well done.

They made a dairy-free dessert for my allergy, which was a lovely touch. It was a simple chocolate mousse, but really well done. Felt nice to be considered.

Portions are huge, which I appreciate. The Greek salad is always fresh, and the thin-crust pizzas are a solid choice. It's a reliable spot for a filling meal.

The tapas selection really stood out for me. I appreciated the fresh ingredients in each small plate, especially the grilled vegetables and the seafood. The coffee was a nice finish. A good spot for a relaxed meal.

Popped in a few times while I was around. The smaller plates were perfect for trying more things. Kids had a blast in the play corner too.

Naomi was a fantastic host. The acoustics are spot on—could actually have a conversation with my wife without shouting, even with a few kids in the room. My glass of Rioja paired nicely with the steak. A comfortable spot for a relaxed dinner.

Stayed in the nautical room, clean and comfy with a good view. The cooked breakfast was spot on. Really appreciated the coffee selection they offered with it, a nice robust blend that paired well with the full English. Made for a solid start to the day.

Been coming here for years. The fireplace is lovely, especially in winter. Had the charcuterie board again last night - still the best in the area. Good, honest food.

The scallops and turbot on the tasting menu were lovely. Had a glass of Sancerre with the fish course, a spot-on pairing that really worked. The wine list is decently priced, though I wish they had more by-the-glass options for the menu.

Nice spot right on the marina for breakfast. Sat outside on a sunny morning, the view was a real plus. Sausages were tasty, coffee was hot and good. A solid, straightforward option if you're in the area.

English breakfast was solid. Good spread, everything cooked right. Bit pricey for what it is, but no complaints on the food itself. Would hit the spot again.

The roast was generous, and I really appreciated the fresh, crisp vegetables. The cauliflower cheese was a nice touch, but the Yorkshire pudding could have been a bit lighter. A good, hearty meal after a long walk.

Loved the saag paneer here, so creamy. The apricot curry was a nice surprise too – they made it less spicy for me, no fuss. Portions are decent. Bit of a wait for the mains, but it was a busy Friday night.

Stopped in after a walk on the beach with the dog. They brought him some bacon, which was a nice touch. I had the fish tacos and a margarita—both were solid. Friendly spot if you’ve got a pup with you.

The taster flight is a nice way to try their local brews. Staff were happy to let me sample a few first.

The chilli seekh kebab was really juicy, which is a nice change. The chicken tikka naga had a good kick to it without being too much. Everything was still hot when I got it home, which was a plus.

As a vegan, I was pleasantly surprised. They have a dedicated menu and offered vegan cheese. The penne arrabiata and crispy potatoes were tasty. For the portion size, I found the pricing to be quite fair.

Been coming here for years, and the staff are always spot on. They're great with my daughter, which makes a real difference.

As a vegetarian, the menu here really impressed me. Plenty of creative options, each with distinct flavours. The staff was spot-on with their recommendations, even suggesting a lovely, crisp white wine that paired beautifully with the spiced lentil dish. A solid find for a thoughtful meal.
