booked a table for five off us as a birthday treat the booking was easy manager and staff could not do enough for us will definetly be back very soon

Service was really attentive. They noticed my friend's birthday and brought out a small dessert with a candle. It was a nice, simple gesture. The staff were polite and checked in without being overbearing. Made the evening feel a bit more considered.

Pizza's fresh, ordered mine with extra pepperoni. The clam pasta was good, flavour was spot on. Place was packed on a Tuesday night, had to wait a bit for a table. Service was friendly though. Gelato was a nice finish.

The veggie Reuben here is my go-to. That toasted bagel with the melty cheese and tangy kraut just hits the spot every time. They've got a good few other veggie fillings too, which is nice.

Been coming here for years. Sid’s always behind the bar, same friendly chat. That’s what keeps me coming back—just a reliable, good spot.

Quick lunch spot. Staff were really helpful with my gluten-free options. Knew the menu well, no fuss. Got my order sorted fast. Good for a quick bite when you're in a rush.

Chef's table was such a fun night out with friends. The new room is gorgeous, and watching the chef work with all the seasonal stuff was the best part. Felt like a proper little show. Service was spot on, too. A bit of a splurge, but perfect for a special catch-up.

Stopped by for a quick coffee. The homemade shortbread that came with it was a nice surprise, really good. For the price of a standard latte, getting that little extra felt like a proper deal. Wouldn't mind that becoming the norm everywhere.

Service was on point for our big group. Staff were super friendly, handled everything smoothly. Made the evening easy.

Lovely spot for afternoon tea. The staff were so friendly, it just felt warm and cosy. Had a proper catch-up with the girls.

Stumbled upon this place in Old Shanklin Village. The setting is really nice, all traditional and cosy. Had a simple lunch here, just felt like a good spot to sit and eat.

The scones here are a real treat. Fresh out of the oven, still warm and so light. Honestly, some of the best I've had. The rest of the tea was lovely too, but those scones are the star for me.

Lovely garden seating for summer! Came with friends and the vegan cream tea was a nice touch. Scones were huge, we could barely finish them. A cute spot for a catch-up.

A real local favourite, which is always a good sign. The menu has so much choice it's almost overwhelming. Went for dinner and everything was tasty, and honestly, the prices felt very fair for what you get.

Had the Sunday roast here. Properly cooked beef, generous portion of veg and a huge Yorkshire pudding. The old building is lovely, bit drafty by the window though. Solid lunch.

Tasting menu was the highlight. Each course looked great and packed flavour. The 'Price is Wight' special was good value for the quality.

The tapas selection really stood out for me. I appreciated the fresh ingredients in each small plate, especially the grilled vegetables and the seafood. The coffee was a nice finish. A good spot for a relaxed meal.

Stayed in the nautical room, clean and comfy with a good view. The cooked breakfast was spot on. Really appreciated the coffee selection they offered with it, a nice robust blend that paired well with the full English. Made for a solid start to the day.

English breakfast was solid. Good spread, everything cooked right. Bit pricey for what it is, but no complaints on the food itself. Would hit the spot again.

The staff were really on it. Quick to refill water, checked in without hovering. Made the whole evening relaxed. Just a nice, smooth experience.

Loved staying here for a weekend with friends. The food was really good, especially the Sunday roast. The village is so quiet and pretty, perfect for a relaxed catch-up. The pub itself has a lovely, cozy feel.

A lovely neighbourhood spot. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience feel relaxed. It's nice to know the ingredients are local, too.

The pancakes were so fluffy, almost like a cloud. That texture is what I'll remember. The cozy vibe in the room just made it feel right.

Popped in for a coffee and ended up trying their cannoli. The lady working solo was so lovely, chatting with everyone while she worked. The cannoli filling was spot on, not too sweet. A really nice little find.

Harissa eggs benedict and the Turkish eggs were both cooked just right. The harissa hollandaise had a nice kick without being overpowering. Turkish eggs were creamy and rich. Portions felt a touch small for the price, but the flavours were spot on.

The Chateaubriand was a decent cut, and carving it at the table was a nice touch. The service was efficient, though perhaps a little too quick for a relaxed evening. My kids were happy with their pizzas.

My friend and I have eaten here 3 times in the last couple of months, drawn back by the 'buy one get one free main course' offer. Each time the staff have been excellent, friendly, helpful and we have thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

First time here, went for the Chef's Special Breakfast. The eggs were fine, but the mushrooms were the star – really flavourful and buttery. Classic diner vibe, which I liked. Service was quick.

Been coming here for years. The staff are always friendly and helpful, no matter how busy it gets. They remember regulars, which is nice. Makes the place feel local.

I have celiac disease, and the staff here, like Becky, really know their stuff about cross-contamination. It’s a relief to find a kitchen that takes it seriously. Makes the whole experience way less stressful.
