Nice quiet spot, and they've got a ramp and accessible loo which is thoughtful. Parking was fine nearby. Decent for a relaxed meal out.

The staff really knew their stuff. Our server explained the wine pairings for each course without being pushy, and the timing between dishes was spot on. Made the whole evening flow nicely.

The Chateaubriand was a decent cut, and carving it at the table was a nice touch. The service was efficient, though perhaps a little too quick for a relaxed evening. My kids were happy with their pizzas.

Came for the buffet with a few friends. The space is really well-designed, with high ceilings and those big, comfortable booths. Felt relaxed just sitting there, even when it got busy. Food was fresh and had good variety.

First time here, went for the Chef's Special Breakfast. The eggs were fine, but the mushrooms were the star – really flavourful and buttery. Classic diner vibe, which I liked. Service was quick.

The food was tasty, but I found the portion sizes a bit small for the price. My main course was gone in a few minutes. Still, it's a cozy place and the staff were friendly. Just remember to ask for less spice if you don't like it hot.

As a vegan, I was pleasantly surprised by the menu here. They have a dedicated section with plenty of choices. The cashew-based cheese on my pizza was spot-on—creamy and flavourful, not like the usual bland substitutes. The place itself is quiet and relaxed, perfect for a slow meal.

Been coming here for years. The staff are always friendly and helpful, no matter how busy it gets. They remember regulars, which is nice. Makes the place feel local.

A lovely pub with a nice, relaxed feel. The service was friendly and prompt. I really appreciated the huge back garden – it meant we could enjoy our meal without worrying about the little ones. The menu looked good, so I'd like to come back to try a few other things.

The tasting menu changes with the seasons. Had it last week, each dish was a little surprise. Flavours were interesting, presentation was really nice. Felt like a proper little journey.

The takeaway portions are huge, and the wings are spot on - crispy and fall-off-the-bone tender.

The staff here are so lovely and attentive. They remembered my name from a previous visit, which was a really nice touch. Makes you feel properly looked after.

Been coming here for years, and they never miss with the allergy stuff. My son’s got a few, and they always take the time to sort his plate out properly. That’s why we keep coming back.

The food looked like art, seriously. Each plate was so pretty I almost didn't want to touch it. Tasted just as good as it looked, too.

First time trying their seafood linguine in Hove. It was packed with fresh mussels and prawns, really hit the spot on a chilly evening. The pasta itself was perfectly al dente.

The staff were so attentive for my mum's birthday. They noticed our little celebration and brought out a small dessert with a candle without us even asking. It was a really thoughtful touch that made the evening feel special.

The Heritage set menu was a good deal. The chicken skewers were nicely charred. What really made it for me was the wine pairing suggestion from the server – a crisp white that cut through the richness of the fish cake perfectly. A thoughtful touch.

The bao buns at brunch were the standout. The bun itself was lovely and soft, the pork filling was savoury and rich. The crispy apple fritter inside was a clever touch, added a nice texture. Really enjoyed them.

Came here on a whim for dinner. The fish and chips were spot on – crispy batter, flaky fish. The place has a nice, relaxed vibe. Seating was comfy. A solid meal.

The Tuesday tasting menu is a solid choice. Curries were pretty good, though the pacing between courses felt a bit rushed.

Lovely garden with a play area, perfect for a relaxed family lunch. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, which made the whole visit feel so easy. Just a note, it can get a bit busy on weekends.

Staff handled our group expanding from 2 to 14 people without a fuss. Got us seated together and service stayed solid all night.

Generous portions and the food was pretty good. Service was fine, if a little slow.

The mixed seafood pot. The prawns and mussels tasted like they were just pulled from the water. That kind of freshness is hard to find. Had it right there on the beach, which was a nice touch.

Been coming here for years, the staff always take a moment to chat and explain the specials. Makes it feel like a proper local spot, not just another restaurant.

Lovely spot for a lazy Sunday catch-up with friends. The staff were so friendly and chatty, which really added to the relaxed vibe. Food was great, and it wasn't packed - could actually hear each other talk! 😊

Nice dinner with friends. Marta was a really good server, attentive but not overbearing. The food was decent.

Been coming here for years after shopping in Portsmouth. It's my go-to spot to escape the crowds. The staff are always friendly and remember my usual order. That consistency is what keeps me coming back.

booked a table for five off us as a birthday treat the booking was easy manager and staff could not do enough for us will definetly be back very soon

Nice spot for a family dinner. Staff are always friendly and helpful, which makes a real difference.
