Stumbled upon this place in Old Shanklin Village. The setting is really nice, all traditional and cosy. Had a simple lunch here, just felt like a good spot to sit and eat.

A real local favourite, which is always a good sign. The menu has so much choice it&#39;s almost overwhelming. Went for dinner and everything was tasty, and honestly, the prices felt very fair for what you get.

Had the Sunday roast here. Properly cooked beef, generous portion of veg and a huge Yorkshire pudding. The old building is lovely, bit drafty by the window though. Solid lunch.

It has been a few years since we last visited Carluccios, and boy, have we been missing out!  It&#39;s every bit as good as we remembered it - great food, great ambience, friendly and efficient service.  The only disappointment was that they were out of stock of Chiant, so we had to settle for our second choice of wine - but that was fine. We&#39;re looking forward to visiting again soon!
