Clothing Recommendations: Summer clothing such as short-sleeved shirts, shorts, and skirts is recommended. Since the temperature may fluctuate between morning and evening, bring a light jacket or shawl. Also, due to the strong UV rays, it's recommended to wear sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses. 🚩What you should know before visiting these attractions 👉Yuling Dam 💧: The actual view of Yuling Dam is quite different from the photos. 👉Tianquan Mountain Sunset 🌄: You may not be able to watch the sunset from the top of the mountain without a reservation. 👉Firefly Base 🐞: Overly commercial, lacks proper management, and isn't very cost-effective. 👉Starry Sky Paradise 🌠: Avoid this area during the summer if you don't like waiting in lines. 👉Jianchi Scenic Area ⛰: Aside from a few unremarkable sights, there's little to see. 👉 Dakeng Scenic Area 🕳: This "huge pit" has nothing to offer besides a hike up and around it. 👉 Yiyuan Organic Farm 🏕: Avoid it on rainy days, especially on Mondays, as it's closed. 👉 Rainbow Trail 🌈: You don't need to go there specifically to check it out; it's just a small path through a tea plantation. 🚩 These are must-try dishes. ✔ Lakeside Floating Restaurant This restaurant is right on the lakefront, offering a great view of the lake when dining outside. There's also a bubble house, which is a great atmosphere. The food is authentic, especially the signature reservoir fish. The fish is incredibly tender and perfectly cooked. The braised snails with soy sauce are also excellent—you'll lick your fingers! It's so delicious! ✔ Yuxiang Farmhouse Cuisine (Houwu Branch) This restaurant was recommended by the B&B owner. Luckily, we made a reservation in advance, as it was quite crowded. The atmosphere was quite nice. We ordered all the owner's signature dishes, and the stir-fried bamboo forest chicken was particularly memorable. The chicken was fragrant and had a nice, wok-like aroma. The bamboo shoots were braised in gravy, and they were tender and crispy. After soaking up the savory bacon juices, they were simply amazing. I'll definitely be back!
