The people could no longer bear it and had to complain to the Dragon King, so the Dragon King ordered his little daughter Qingfeng to wear a dragon sword and rush to Nanyue. One day, Qingfeng took advantage of Zhuolong's drunkenness and killed him, cut him into four parts: dragon head, dragon neck, dragon body, and dragon tail, and then brought back the cut dragon head to report to her father. The remaining three sections became the "Dragon Body" of Putai, the "Dragon Tail" of Jieyang, and the "Dragon Neck" of Jiexi. In 2023, I rushed to Guangdong to watch the Fengshun Putai Fire Dragon Dance, which had been suspended for three years. It was very shocking. I hope that this exciting program can be promoted to the world like the Spanish Bull Run. Although there are weekly fire dragon dance programs at tourist attractions in Fengshun, I still want to watch the local original and authentic activities after repeated consideration. It has nothing to do with the ticket fee. I just want to experience it up close. The Putai Town Fire Dragon Dance does not charge tickets. There is basically no detailed guide on the entire network. I went there by myself. Fortunately, I watched the event and returned to the Fengshun County Hotel smoothly. There were thousands of people on the scene. Traffic control was worried that I would not be able to go back in the middle of the night. Consider it and share information with everyone to facilitate everyone to experience Putai in the future. It is recommended to arrive at the town entrance before 17 o'clock, when there is a good viewing position Hotel: Fengshun County is characterized by hot springs. The quality of local hotels is average. Those with a better environment can consider several large hot spring hotels in the county. There are also hotels at the town entrance of Putai Town, Nantian Boutique Hotel. The price-performance ratio is not high. The advantage is that you can park and it is close to the Fire Dragon Square, which is a 10-minute walk away. You don't need to find a car to go back to Fengshun at night. Watch the Fire Dragon on site: In the picture, the yellow circle is a residential building. Advantages: the best viewing point, safety, and unobstructed view. Disadvantages: high price and a certain distance. If you don't consider money, contact the owners of the several residential buildings circled in yellow in the picture in advance. Generally, it costs 200 yuan per person to go to the rooftop, and the location is at the back. The photo-taking location in the front row is negotiated in person (very expensive). * The landlord of the residential building with two yellow circles in Figure 2 (the house marked in red in Figure 3) has small plastic chairs for rent at 5 yuan each, which can be used for rest during the waiting time. Food: The local beef balls taste average, not as good as Chaozhou beef. It is recommended to go early to reserve a seat. There are fewer restaurants. It is recommended to prepare bread and the like. Toilet: Drink less water, after all, it is not a tourist attraction Departure: I left after burning the first dragon to avoid not being able to call a car when many people leave. If you drive yourself, it is not a big problem to park the car at the town entrance. If you take a taxi, it is best to contact the driver before going. The driver cannot come to the town entrance due to traffic control. You need to walk to the vicinity of the control port 1 industrial park 3km away, or take a motorcycle taxi. There are not many motorcycles at night. Control port 1, the small cars from Fengshun cannot enter the town at night due to traffic control. There is a large parking lot next to it, and buses are also arranged to return to Fengshun, but there are not many buses. Burn the second one and then leave. It is expected to be 21:30. There will be a lot of people at that time, so be careful. I left after burning the first one. Most people were still at the scene. Locals said that it took a long time for people to evacuate. For vehicle reservations there, try to find a local online car-hailing driver in advance and contact them separately in advance. It is difficult to make reservations on the platform. Clothing: The smell of fireworks is very strong at the scene. If you mind, you can prepare an n95 mask. It is still quite cold on the night of the Lantern Festival. It is recommended to wear a thin down jacket. If you are worried about the clothes being burned, you can wear a raincoat or a torn jacket. The square is all muddy. If the ground is wet, it is not recommended to wear good shoes. If you hold an umbrella at the scene, you will be scolded by the people in the back row. It is recommended to prepare a raincoat. Safety and hygiene: There will be a large number of police, firefighters, and ambulances at the scene. Be careful when bringing children, and do not enter the blue area. The roof is the most suitable place to bring children, but it costs money.
