Don't just enjoy the sights when visiting Longnan! I've compiled a list of my favorite restaurants, from incredibly delicious local eateries to now-defunct internet-famous restaurants. It's small, but the food is incredible! The rice and dough are incredibly smooth, smothered in spicy chili oil. A bowl is only 4 yuan, and paired with an 8 yuan roujiamo (Chinese roujiamo), you're guaranteed a carb-filled meal! 2. Liangshui Three-Piece Set P3: I took an hour-long bus ride to Liangshui Town just for this treat! Just navigate to "Liangshui Food Street" on the navigation, but remember it opens after 4:30 PM! Must-order lamb skewers, spicy noodles, and grilled chicken feet. Find a place with a long line—you're guaranteed to go! The lamb skewers are perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the spicy noodles are soaked in the broth. At 40 yuan per person, you'll be stuffed! 3. Walnut Cakes P4: A must-buy Longnan specialty! Don't just buy from online recommendations; ask locals on the street. I bought mine at a small shop outside the west gate of the Municipal Hospital. The freshly baked cakes were incredibly fragrant, though I'm a bit salty. Perfect for gifts, and you can buy a large bag for 20 yuan per person. 4. Yogurt P5: The yogurt I picked up at the supermarket was surprisingly amazing! I highly recommend the Mula yogurt, which comes in five flavors and can be stored at room temperature, with just the right balance of sweet and sour. The Old Lanzhou yogurt is also great, with a thicker texture and perfect with the walnut cakes. 5. Fengzhengdao P6: Their noodles are truly delicious! 😋 You can't go wrong. The side dishes are all refreshing and delicious, and the condiment table is extensive. It's not just at mealtimes that the crowds are outrageous. The hand-made noodles are highly recommended. The whistle noodles and spicy chicken noodles are also delicious. The fillings are generous, the chili is incredibly fragrant, and the noodles are chewy. It's a dream come true. 6. Potato Stir-fried Rice Balls P7 seems to be a local's go-to breakfast. The sticky texture paired with the fragrant chili oil and chives is delicious, and the potatoes are fragrant. ❌ Warning! These restaurants are closed. Don't miss out! The popular online restaurants [Lanzhou Hand-Pulled Rice Balls] and [Lanlan Snacks] are no longer open. If you've made a detour to go there, you'll be disappointed. Remember to avoid these two restaurants. Longnan's delicious food is truly hidden in the alleys. After a day in Longnan, I felt so comfortable and happy. With the mountains as the background, it is built along the river, so clean. Generally, there are urban scenic belts on both sides of the river. Here are night markets and amusement parks.
