JW Marriott Hotel Shanghai Tomorrow Square JW's California Steakhouse is a must-try~ It is currently closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, so make an appointment in advance~ The price-performance ratio is great~ Came here for lunch and ordered the signature wagyu burger that my friend strongly recommended 🍔 It looked ordinary, I chose 5-well, the beef patty tasted tender and juicy, and the bread was also good. Very delicious burger. Also ordered two lunch sets, the pre-meal bread was OK + the appetizer chicken Caesar salad + pan-fried tuna with avocado + the regular soup pumpkin soup + the main course grilled beef tenderloin with lasagna potatoes, baby carrots and black pepper sauce + grilled Mongolian lamb chops with spices, bread crumbs, arugula and roasted tomatoes + fruit after the meal. There was nothing particularly outstanding in the set, no merits or demerits. Finally, the shortcomings are quite obvious, the tableware was not wiped clean + the waiting time between dishes was a bit long.

The semi-buffet at noon was pretty good. Call ahead and make an appointment. The meal starts at 11:30. The waiter is very nice and polite. The view is also good if the weather is good. Drinks need to be ordered, but lemonade is free.

The breakfast is complete. The accommodation is good. It is located in the central area, and the high-rise rooms have river views. The check-in place is on the 38th floor, the 59th floor is the executive lounge, and the lobby on the 38th floor is where you can chat with friends and look at the scenery outside.

It is a long-established restaurant. It is the earliest JW Marriott in Shanghai. It has a good location. Everyone knows the Vajra in People's Square. California Steakhouse is located on the 40th floor. Below is People's Square and People's Park. The scenery is unique. I had a working lunch at noon. The appetizers, desserts and fruits are self-service. The main course and soup are a la carte. In fact, this is quite good. I don't eat too much. JW's products have been quite stable. The buffet part cannot be said to be rich, but the quality of several cold dishes and salads is actually quite good. I ordered pork neck for the main course. To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised. The sweet and sour taste was a kind of temptation. The cream of mushroom soup was really fragrant. Service is also a major feature of JW. It upholds the usual level of hospitality. The overall experience is good. The only pity is that the hotel is still old after all, and the restaurant is also a little old-fashioned.

The view is OK, the food is delicious, and the service is good. But the waiters don't seem to be very happy working here. After serving the dishes, they talked far away, and their resentment was about to run to our table. In such an atmosphere, we ate our food. The most impressive thing was that the pudding was delicious, haha. There were not many people eating that night. In addition to my boyfriend and me, there was only one foreigner who came later than us. After ordering, he ate alone at the table next to us, finished his meal quickly and left quickly.

The steak tastes really good, medium rare and delicious. The buffet is salad, dessert, fruit and ice cream. I am very satisfied with the meal. If the weather is good, you can see the Oriental Pearl Tower. Not bad.
