A must visit when in Shanghai. Located 5 minutes from the iconic Bund. Yunnan style cuisine with a dark, warm and cosy interior atmosphere. The staff were attentive and the food was amazing. Highly recommend!

Huama Paradise Yunnan Restaurant Gaoyou Road Branch is a restaurant with a strong Southeast Asian flavor, serving Yunnan cuisine. The decoration has a strong Southeast Asian style, with red as the main color. There are many antique furniture and decorations, including the Thousand-armed Guanyin Buddha statue, regional ghost masks and headdresses, and a photo of Shangri-La at the door. The tableware and lamps are also very exquisite, and the shapes and shapes are carefully designed.

The dishes are the widely acclaimed Yunnan flavor, influenced by the folk cuisine from the Ancient Tea Horse Road to Myanmar and Laos. The steamed cod with chicken brown mushrooms, shrimp spring rolls, and Burmese cold tea are highly recommended. They are amazing.

The plane trees on Fuxing West Road were hit by the rain, and I was sleepwalking in the most beautiful Yunnan restaurant in Shanghai~ The dim red lights and exquisite decorations reflect a different petty bourgeoisie style. It is worth mentioning that the design of the bathroom is fun to peek into the bathroom of the opposite sex across the street... The signature wild vegetable cakes and shrimp paste spring rolls are really crispy, paired with sour and appetizing tamarind sauce and sweet fried tomato sauce, so delicious~ I was very happy to eat the staple food. Huama Paradise Yunnan Restaurant is a place where you must go after a date. The dishes are a combination of Yunnan and Southeast Asian flavors. Steamed cod with chicken and brown mushrooms, Dali-style scallion and pepper chicken, and shrimp paste spring rolls are worth a try. The environment is absolutely high! The service of the waiter is quite satisfactory, and some of the problems with the dishes are not very clear.

This is a very high-end restaurant with a very small storefront. It is hard to find if you are not careful. The parking lot is quite far from the storefront, but don't worry, there are staff at the door to guide you to park. Although the storefront is not big, you will find a different world after entering. The decoration is unique. The dishes are naturally not cheap, but I am not sure about the specific prices because someone is treating me. The dishes have a combination of Chinese and Western flavors, with flavors that both Chinese and foreigners can accept. There are no empty seats at mealtime, so you need to make a reservation in advance.

There is a beautiful garden house hidden in such a quiet place of Gaoyou Road. But once you enter the door, the spacious layout, subtropical decoration and the Buddha statue in the middle have a very Yunnan flavor. I tried the dishes. Dajiujia is a common staple food in Yunnan, with rich ingredients and the aroma of bacon; the sea bass with fermented black beans uses Yunnan Dai fermented black beans, which smells stinky but tastes delicious.
