I finally got to eat at the vegetarian restaurant I'd been wanting to try for so long! The food was more delicious and beautifully presented than I expected. I was instantly blown away by their "Spicy Chicken"!! The presentation and taste are exactly like the meat version!! For dessert, you absolutely have to try their banana parfait 🍰. Shanghai Vegetarian | A Vegetarian Restaurant Tucked Away from an Alleyway Shanghai is truly a vegetarian paradise, with vegetarian restaurants scattered throughout the streets and alleys of every district—there's just too much to eat! 😋 Dan Yan Salt, a Black Pearl French restaurant, transformed into a vegetarian restaurant last June. The second-floor view is great; the window seats offer views of Shanghai's cityscape, making it a comfortable place to dine alone. The menu is a unique fusion of Chinese and Western cuisine, showing the chef's considerable effort. We ordered three dishes this time, all quite delicious, but a bit too much for one person, so we took one home. 😍 🌸Pounded Pepper, Century Egg, and Eggplant Adding it to a mini pizza crust adds even more layers of flavor. The spiciness is just right, the eggplant isn't oily or greasy, and the century egg is chewy and bouncy. 🌸Smoked Asparagus Risotto The water content is just right, the rice retains its texture, not mushy, and it's very refreshing—perfect for teething children too. 🌸Golden Jade Vegetarian Soup: Pumpkin soup with monkey head mushrooms and shredded white radish. It has a moderate sweetness and a very rich flavor. The crispness of the shredded white radish brings a different texture, and it's not greasy at all.
