Peace Hotel, a century-old restaurant with classic decoration, but also first-class prices, and the food quality is also... standard. The chocolate cake is rich in flavor and the cream is finely whipped. The fruit mille-feuille is crispy and the fruit is fresh. The sandwich comes with French fries, which is great. I was at the Peace Hotel Spa and had planned to have afternoon tea, but after seeing the reviews below, I decided to move up to lunch and have beef noodles in the Peace Hotel's café! At 88+, it was indeed the most expensive beef noodles I've ever had. The portion wasn't large, so I guess a guy wouldn't be full. The beef was tender, but not amazing. The broth, however, was delicious. The accompanying spicy soy sauce was delicious, but the chili peppers were surprisingly spicy, considering I can handle spicy food. I devoured both the soup and the noodles. I also ordered the Na Tie (a traditional Chinese food dish) for 60+, which was a bit pricey. It came in a full cup, similar to the large cups at Starbucks. After all the noodle soup, it felt a bit overwhelming. After finishing my meal and the spa, I wasn't hungry at all. The ambiance was very old Shanghainese. It's the second brightest spot on the G floor of the Peace Hotel. I really don't like how dim the lobby is, even though I have a thing for the Peace Hotel. There were quite a few people eating there at lunch, mostly foreigners. Watching the tourists passing by outside the window is a truly beautiful sight. The service is well worth the 15% service charge. If you like cake, we recommend takeout; there's no service charge. To access the restroom, you need to ask the attendant for a key card. The experience was truly worthwhile; the restroom is gorgeous and bright, and I highly recommend everyone visit it.

I like the environment here. It also reflects the Shanghai style. You can experience a corner of Shanghai, enjoy the sweet coffee here, and appreciate the Bund scenery. This is the best choice.
