We walked along the Hongze Lake from Huai'an Hongze District and arrived in Sihong at nearly 1 p.m., so we looked for a place to fill our stomachs first. So we had dinner at a husband-and-wife restaurant in Sihong City. The restaurant is located in the city center and there is a constant flow of people. The prices are really affordable. It is probably because the price level in Sihong is low. The two of us looked at the pictures of dishes on the wall of the restaurant and ordered three dishes: small mixed fish, braised old goose, and vegetables with bean curd dregs, for a total of 103 yuan. In Sihong, small fish are coated with flour and seasoning, fried first and then braised. It feels like the original freshness of the fish is gone, which is a pity. I saw that the pickled fish ordered by the local guests at the table next to me looked good in color and shape. I asked about the taste and they said it was good. Not sure if it suits our taste.
