莫老爷饭庄

Entering Huangyao Ancient Town from the East Gate Tower, I was attracted by the shape of the branch of Mo Laoye Restaurant near the gate tower. It is so unique, isn't it? Not far from the East Gate Tower, I found the main branch of Mo Laoye Restaurant. Although the upper part of the house is also made of adobe bricks, the area inside the restaurant is much larger. It is a relatively large restaurant in the ancient town.

On Tuesday, I came to Huangyao Ancient Town and stayed at Jiuhushan Hotel. It was raining heavily, so there were fewer people visiting the ancient town. Walking in the rain, I was filled with beautiful scenery. I bought thuja and flute, drank homemade wine, and was happy. I recommend the restaurant of Jiuhushan Hotel, which has a good environment, good products, and good service.

I stayed in Huangyao Ancient Town for two nights and three days. I went to Mo Laoye Restaurant for two meals. I was attracted by the sign at the door when I was strolling in the morning. Later, I ate their dishes and felt that they were more delicious than the day before. I went there for another meal in the evening. There were not as many customers in the evening as at noon. Mr. Mo told us stories. The sign at the door was made by Mr. Mo himself with firewood. I was surprised. Mr. Mo is in his sixties and has artistic cells! Their stuffed tofu and dried bamboo shoots are delicious, and the white rice is also fragrant! It’s a pity that I didn’t take some photos. I wanted to take a photo of Mr. Mo, but I was embarrassed and finally didn’t ask.

It's easy to find, right next to the big banyan tree. It's a family-run restaurant. The kids help order food while mom and dad cook.

Although I didn't go in to dine, the store still has some unique features. The characters of the store name are made up of bamboo. If they put more effort into the food, I believe I will be attracted to go in and taste the food next time.
