My first experience at Waipoqiao: delicious food and excellent service! 🥰 Hey everyone, this is my first time dining at Waipoqiao, and the experience was truly incredible. I feel like it's a fantastic choice for future gatherings! Simple, New Chinese Style, Comfortable and Elegant Upon entering Waipoqiao, the simple, New Chinese ambiance is immediately striking. The elegant color palette, wooden tables and chairs, and soft lighting create a warm and cozy atmosphere. Several ink paintings hang on the walls, adding a touch of artistic flair. The tables and chairs are neatly arranged and spaced appropriately, creating a lively dining atmosphere without feeling crowded. The floor is spotless and uncluttered, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant is also well-ventilated, so even when crowded, it never feels stuffy or smells like cooking fumes. This setting is perfect for family gatherings or small gatherings with friends! 🥳 A feast for the senses, the delicious food won't stop. Speaking of the flavor, it deserves special praise. When it came time for the fish, the waiter enthusiastically recommended the "Old Flavor Fish." As soon as this dish arrived, a rich aroma filled my nostrils, instantly whetting my appetite. The fish was braised to a golden hue, its surface gleaming with an alluring sheen. Picking up a piece and placing it in my mouth, I found it tender, juicy, and melt-in-your-mouth, bursting with flavor. The broth was the best part: rich and mellow, with a subtle spiciness and a fresh aroma, it was the perfect dip for pancakes. I eagerly tore off a piece of pancake and dipped it in the broth. Once the pancake was soaked up, I took a bite. The softness of the pancake and the richness of the broth blended perfectly, the flavors spreading throughout my mouth, making it impossible not to stop eating. The homemade stir-fries were also generously portioned. I ordered several, and each plate was overflowing. For example, the stir-fried seasonal vegetables, fresh and seasoned to perfection, were crispy and tender, retaining their original flavor while adding a richness of texture. Then there's the stir-fried shredded pork, perfectly chopped and tender, juicy, and paired with green peppers and onions for a rich, flavorful dish. When the huge pot of chicken arrived, I was truly amazed. The chicken piled high in the pot, emitting an enticing aroma. The chicken was stewed to tender, flavorful tenderness, and the bones and meat separated with a gentle bite, making it effortless to eat. The garnishes were also plentiful, including potatoes and mushrooms, which absorbed the chicken's broth and made it extra delicious. This large pot was enough for several people and offered excellent value. And the honey-glazed yam immediately caught everyone's attention. The yam was sliced ​​into even thin slices and neatly arranged on a plate, drizzled with a layer of translucent honey. I once accidentally spilled water on the table, and before I could react, the waitress quickly cleaned it up with a rag and asked if I had gotten my clothes wet. It was incredibly heartwarming! The food was also served quickly. Shortly after we ordered, the delicious dishes were served one after another, without much waiting. For someone as impatient as me, this was incredibly friendly. I was completely captivated by Waipoqiao on my first visit, and I've already made plans with my family and friends to come back next time.
