The rooms were really spacious and spotless. Perfect for crashing after a long day of hiking. Felt like a proper cosy retreat without breaking the bank.

Passing through and stopped for dinner. The service was spot-on, really attentive. Food was good too.

Always end up here after trade shows. The vibe is perfect for catching up with friends over a drink and a bite. Food looks gorgeous, and the staff are so chill. Just a solid, reliable spot.

The full English breakfast was solid and reasonably priced. Staff were efficient and the place was spotless.

Staff are always friendly and efficient. I often grab a made-to-order sandwich or panini for a quick lunch. Good spot for a reliable meal when you're short on time.

Just discovered this little pub tucked away in Friars Entry. The Alice in Wonderland theme is so fun and quirky, really makes the place. Had a chilled evening here with mates.

Quick afternoon tea. Scones were great, sandwiches were tasty. Good for a fast bite.

Sunday roast is back! The meat and vegetables were spot on, fresh and cooked just right. Exactly what you want from the local.

Tried their early dinner set menu. The spicy prawn and mussel pizzette was a standout – really fresh and the kick was just right. Portions were generous too, felt like a good deal for what you get.

The escargot starter was very nice, and the grilled pork belly main was cooked well. The wine list looked decent, but our first choice was out of stock. We had the Beaujolais instead, which was a pretty good, easy-drinking red.

The mapo tofu bento was spot on. The tofu was soft and flavourful, and even the rice was cooked just right.

Came for my birthday dinner. The staff were so lovely, they even sang for me! It was a really nice touch that made the night. The food was good, but honestly, that little bit of extra care is what I’ll remember.

Love the main pub area with its low ceilings and fireplace. It's got such a cozy, traditional feel that makes you want to settle in for a while. Felt very welcoming and homely, just a really nice spot to relax.

First time in, and it's a proper local pub. The beer selection is spot on – loads of local craft stuff you don't see everywhere. Had a couple pints in the garden, which gets the sun nicely. Dog was made welcome too. 👍

Decent carvery, good portions for the price. The kids ate well. Staff were responsive when we needed extra gravy. The back room with the fireplace was a nice touch on a cold evening. Solid choice for a family meal.

Been ordering for years, but the chip butty came without bread last time.

The chicken was tender and the portions were generous. Their house red was a surprisingly good match for the spices.

The service at this restaurant is exceptional! Aimee was incredibly friendly and attentive, making our dining experience truly enjoyable.

The staff were amazing. Having booked through fork the booking hadn't made it to the restaurant, even though they were absolutely packed they managed to find us a table. The staff were so attentive and couldn't do enough for us even though they were rushed off their feet. Thank you

We arrived for a 12.15 pm lunch in order to beat the busy period. Most customers were outside in the sunshine but we had chosen to eat indoors. The chairs were very comfortable and the ambiance very tasteful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My sister in law and I had the sea bass fillets and my husband had the gammon. Plates were all clean and my husband and I had a dessert. We will be back the next time we visit the area.

Easy to find with loads of free parking, which was a relief after the outlet. The space itself just felt a bit... generic? Like a nice enough pitstop, but nothing that makes you want to linger.

Contemporary vibe and a solid wine list. The food was tasty, and the prices felt fair for what you get.

We had a group of 20 and they handled it so well! The staff were really friendly and everything came out quickly. The food was a nice surprise - lots of choice and everything tasted fresh.

The team here are lovely, really friendly and helpful. Food's good too. Shame about the accessibility, had a bit of a struggle getting in and the loo wasn't great. But the staff's attitude is a big plus, makes you feel welcome.

The hot food here is decent. Had the sausage roll, pastry was flaky and buttery, the filling was properly seasoned. Not mind-blowing, but solid. That's what I come for.

Been coming here for years, and the fish and chips portion is always huge. It's a reliable spot for that.

A really spacious pub, loads of TVs and sports stuff on the walls. Went for an early lunch and it was nice and quiet, easy to get a table. Plenty of parking round the back which is a bonus.

First time here and the food really stood out. The pad thai had that perfect balance of sweet and sour, with just the right amount of crunch from the peanuts. Felt like a proper taste of Bangkok. Prices are very fair for what you get.

A proper local pub, and they're very welcoming to dogs - even had treats for our spaniel. Nice to see. The pale ale on tap was a solid choice, went well with the simple ploughman's lunch. Could do with a few more craft options on the menu though.

Booked ahead for a Saturday evening, which was necessary. The place was packed. Service was efficient despite the crowd, and our order arrived promptly. The steak was cooked as requested. Good for a reliable meal when you need a table secured.
