The staff here is so nice! We showed up right before closing and they still made us the Big Apple pancake. That homemade whipped cream was the best part. Perfect for a late-night catch-up with friends.

Just tried this spot for breakfast and dinner last week. The food's solid, and you get a decent portion for what you pay. Service was quick, which was nice for a weekday dinner.

The build-your-own omelet is solid. It's always hot and fresh when it arrives. Good portion for the price. Service is quick, which is what I need on a workday morning.

Been coming here for years, and the cheese enchiladas are always exactly what I'm hoping for. That red sauce is the real deal. It's the kind of consistency that keeps me coming back.

Small spot, so expect a wait. But they're fast once you're in. Got the club sandwich. Came out quick, and they got my order perfect. Good for a quick bite.

First time in Detroit and this veggie omelet with jalapenos really hit the spot. Perfectly cooked, not greasy at all. The portion was huge, I couldn't finish it. Left feeling very satisfied.

The parking situation was great for our Sunday brunch. Staff was polite and gave us space to talk.

The German tomato soup was so good. It was simple and comforting, with a really nice flavor. The whole place just felt cozy and relaxed, which made it easy to enjoy the meal.

Been coming here for years. The waffles are always solid - crispy outside, fluffy inside. Service is friendly, no complaints. It's just a reliable spot for a good brunch.

The blueberry pancakes with lemon curd are the real reason I keep coming back. The curd is just the right amount of tart, and the pancakes are so fluffy. It gets busy, but the line usually moves pretty fast.

The owners are here most nights, you can tell they really want you to have a good time. It's nice to see them checking in with tables. Makes the place feel like a neighborhood spot.

Love the relaxed French vibe here. Had the gluten-free quiche for lunch - the crust was surprisingly flaky and the filling was creamy without being heavy. A solid spot for a casual midday bite.

The staff handled our group event so well. They were really responsive to all our questions beforehand, and everything ran smoothly on the day. Made the whole thing stress-free.

Stopped in for lunch. The split pea soup is killer, huge chunks of ham. Got it with the ham sandwich on a Kaiser roll. Simple, solid stuff. You can tell they care about what they serve.

We grabbed burgers here before the Lions game. The outdoor patio was a nice spot to enjoy the pre-game vibe. The burgers were pretty good, and the staff was friendly even though it was packed. A decent spot for a quick meal.

Tried the old-fashioned strawberry shortcake with the buttermilk biscuit. It was exactly like I remember from years ago. A solid dessert, not overly sweet. The biscuit was the right texture.

The Betty-fied Omelette. The cranberries in there were a sweet surprise, worked well with the eggs. Really generous portion, I could barely finish it. That's the main thing I remember.

The patio is a nice spot to eat when it's warm out. It's clean and they've put some effort into the setup. That's about it.

Been coming here for years. Coffee's solid, and I like that they leave the thermos at the table. Steak bites are always done right. Gets busy, but that's no surprise.

Weekend dinner was packed, so we waited about half an hour. Totally expected that. The staff was really on top of things though, friendly and efficient. Food came out hot and looked great. The paid lot across the street is a lifesaver.

Perfect for a quick lunch. Grabbed a few small plates solo, got to try a bunch of flavors without the wait. Everything came out fast. The crispy cauliflower was a standout. Good for when you want variety but are short on time.

The banana walnut pancakes were good, but the portion felt a bit small for the price. You could taste the fresh banana and the walnuts had a nice crunch. Just wish there were a couple more on the plate.

They reopened after the fire, and I like the new separate register for takeout. The food was really good, and the portions are huge. Just a solid spot.

Been a regular here for years, and it never disappoints. Ordered the chicken and chips with the lemon rice soup again. It's just a good, dependable meal. The soup is always the right amount of tangy.

Had a solid meal here again. The staff is always so kind and attentive. My only note is the wine list feels a bit limited for a hotel restaurant. Still, it’s a reliable spot for a good dinner.

Been to both spots for breakfast a few times now. It's just a solid, consistent place to start the day. The coffee's good, service is always on it. Tried the chicken lettuce wraps at lunch once and they weren't for me, so I'm sticking with the morning menu.

The wood-fired margherita pizza is pretty good. Thin, crisp crust with a nice fresh tomato sauce. A solid happy hour choice at the bar.

The staff was so nice on a packed holiday morning. They answered all our questions without rushing us, which was really appreciated. Made us feel right at home.

Service here is always on point. The staff is friendly without being overbearing, and they keep an eye on your coffee cup. Makes for a relaxed family breakfast.
