Big portions and the staff were sound. We sat inside cause it was lashing but it still had a nice buzz. The terrace would be deadly on a sunny day.

Lunch specials are solid for the price. Got the €3.50 toastie and it came out fast. Fresh enough and hit the spot for a quick bite.

The vegan tuna sushi here is roasted watermelon and honestly it blew my mind a bit. Never thought watermelon could pull that off. Coffee was solid too and the girls working were dead sound. Place was busy enough but we got seated grand. Wouldn't mind going back to try more of the menu.

The sourdough toast was honestly the best I had while I was over—really decent for what you pay. Coffee’s fine, nothing to write home about, but I didn’t mind. Sat near the window, staff left me alone long enough to enjoy it. That’s all I needed, really.

Open 24 hours, which honestly saved me the other night when nothing else was open. Got the hot chocolate with the chocolate stick—nice touch, melts right in. Also tried the Moroccan tea, proper good. Place was quiet enough to sit and chill for a bit. Will be back if I'm stuck late again.

Nice flat white and the scone was decent. Music gave the place a bit of life without being too loud. Staff had a good chatty vibe. Solid shout if you're sick of the chain spots.

Cool spot with a proper urban feel. Been a few times now and the food holds up. Nice having the outdoor bit out back too. Good wine list to work through.

Came for breakfast, mini breakfast was spot on. Service quick, no messing about. Could sit there after without being rushed, which was nice. Solid enough start to the day.

Stopped in here for a coffee and an almond croissant after walking past the cathedral. Croissant was proper good, flaky and buttery. Coffee did the job. Place was busy enough but I found a seat by the window. Nice spot to just sit and watch people for a while. Not bad at all.

The wild mushroom and poached eggs were the standout. That sauce soaked into the toast just right. Got there right at opening, place was already half full. They don't take bookings so you're rolling the dice if you show up late. Portion was decent for the price too. Would eat that again.

The Reuben was solid—good quality meat and a fair portion for the price. Would've loved a side salad to round it out, but it hit the spot.

The almond croissant is genuinely the best I've had in ages. Flaky, not too sweet, the filling actually tastes like real almonds. Coffee's decent too. It's a bit steep for what it is, but fine for a treat. Mostly a takeaway spot, only a couple of stools inside. I'd grab one if you're passing.

Stopped in for a pint and ended up staying longer than planned. The barman knew his stuff, poured a proper Guinness and even showed me the bottle when I asked about the wine. €4.50 for a pint is fair for Dublin these days. Place had a nice hum to it, not too packed. Solid spot if you're in the area and want a relaxed drink.

The full Irish breakfast here is a solid shout if you're hungry. Portion size is proper, not one of those tiny plates that leaves you looking for a snack an hour later. Service was quick enough even though the place was packed. They split the bill for our group without any hassle, which is always a bonus. Only thing is it's not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

Stopped in for coffee and a slice of cake—the place has a proper artsy vibe, walls covered in art that’s actually for sale. Coffee was rich, not bitter. Cake was decent, though a bit small for the price. Nice spot to kill an hour with a book from their shelf.

The porridge with the sweet chopped apples was proper comfort food. Soft, warm, and not overly sugary. Portion was decent for the price, which I always appreciate. Place itself was nice enough to sit in for a while. Simple breakfast done right, no complaints from me. Wouldn't mind going back if I'm in the area again.

Seafood chowder was spot on. Loads of fresh fish, proper hot, and the brown soda bread was class. Cozy enough spot for lunch.

The sourdough loaf used to be available on its own. Now it’s only in their sandwiches. Bit of a letdown if you just want the bread.

The view over Cork at night is stunning, and the waiter really looked after us. Pricey, but worth it for a treat.

Tiny spot but the window seats are lovely. Good for a quick coffee and a catch-up. Got a bit cramped when it filled up though.

Stopped in for breakfast again—still solid. Eggs came out right, toast actually buttered properly, coffee hot. Staff let me sit with my paper without hovering. That's basically why I keep coming back. Nothing fancy, just dependable. Place gets busy around 9, so go early if you want a quiet table.

That brownie sundae with the Nutella swirl was dangerously good. I'm from Chicago and I still keep thinking about it. Will be back for sure.

Decent spot for a quick lunch. Sandwich was well made and the portion matched the price. Nothing fancy, but you won't leave hungry.

Stopped in for dinner and honestly the food was class. Really creative stuff, you can see the effort in every plate. Bit pricey but you're paying for the quality. Just know it's modern Irish, not your traditional fry-up. If you want something different it's worth checking out.
