The full Irish breakfast here is a solid shout if you're hungry. Portion size is proper, not one of those tiny plates that leaves you looking for a snack an hour later. Service was quick enough even though the place was packed. They split the bill for our group without any hassle, which is always a bonus. Only thing is it's not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

Loved building my own bowl – went heavy on the spice level and it didn't disappoint. The house hot sauces on the side were a nice touch.

Bright spot with loads of seating, no hassle getting a table. Portion sizes were decent for the price, left full without feeling ripped off. Would pop back in if I'm in the area again.

The porridge with the sweet chopped apples was proper comfort food. Soft, warm, and not overly sugary. Portion was decent for the price, which I always appreciate. Place itself was nice enough to sit in for a while. Simple breakfast done right, no complaints from me. Wouldn't mind going back if I'm in the area again.

Felt like having dinner at my auntie's place, staff were dead sound and let us swap things on the menu. Proper hearty feed, mostly locals in which is always a good sign.

Went in on a Friday night, they've started doing food weekends now. Got the brownie, fair play it was deadly. Portion sizes are decent for what you pay. Place was busy enough but we got sorted. Wouldn't mind going back to try the rest of the menu.

The wild mushroom and poached eggs were the standout. That sauce soaked into the toast just right. Got there right at opening, place was already half full. They don't take bookings so you're rolling the dice if you show up late. Portion was decent for the price too. Would eat that again.

Stopped by for dinner on a Tuesday. Service was quick and the waiter didn't hover, which I appreciate. They brought out a candle with the dessert for my partner's birthday without us asking. Small gesture, but it landed well. Food was solid, nothing groundbreaking, but the place runs efficiently. Fine for a casual weeknight meal if you're in the area.

Came here on a quiet Tuesday night, place wasn't too packed. Got the lasagne and a glass of red. Pasta was proper, not the usual sloppy stuff you get around town. Chef actually walked out with the plates himself, which I thought was a nice touch. Prices are fair for the portion. Only gripe, service was a bit slow between courses. Still, it's a solid spot if you're in Cork.

Came here on a tip from a mate who lives nearby. Seafood chowder was proper creamy, plenty of fish in it. Steak came out cooked exactly as I asked. Staff were grand, even with the place packed for lunch. Menu's big enough you'll find something. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

Cool spot with a proper urban feel. Been a few times now and the food holds up. Nice having the outdoor bit out back too. Good wine list to work through.

Stopped by for a late lunch with a few colleagues. Place was busy but we got seated straight away. Food came out quick, which I appreciated. Had the burger, decent portion for the price. Service was friendly enough, no complaints. Solid spot if you're in the area and need something reliable.

The taco chips were decent, nice crunch and seasoning. But honestly, the portion was a bit tight for what they charge. I'd probably skip them next time and just go for the pittas instead.

Been coming here for a while now, food's solid. But the closing time is a bit of a lottery, honestly. Turned away twice before 9pm, which is annoying when you've made the trip. Wish they'd just stick to the posted hours.

Came here on a Tuesday night, place was busy but we got seated straight away. Ordered the pad thai and green curry, both came out hot and fresh. Portion size was decent for the price, though I'd say the curry could've had a bit more chicken in it. Staff left us alone which I actually prefer. Paid about €15 each with a drink, can't complain about that.

Stopped in for breakfast again—still solid. Eggs came out right, toast actually buttered properly, coffee hot. Staff let me sit with my paper without hovering. That's basically why I keep coming back. Nothing fancy, just dependable. Place gets busy around 9, so go early if you want a quiet table.

Great food, and the wine list actually pairs well with the dishes. Pricey, but you get what you pay for.

The butter chicken was proper tasty and the paratha had that nice flaky texture. Only thing is the portion felt a bit small for what you're paying. I'd say it's decent for a quick bite but don't come starving. The seating area is pretty cramped too, not much room to spread out. Fine for a casual lunch but nothing fancy.

Seafood chowder was spot on. Loads of fresh fish, proper hot, and the brown soda bread was class. Cozy enough spot for lunch.

The pickled mussels on charred sourdough are still the thing I think about afterwards. Third visit and they haven't slipped once. Even the veggie plates feel properly thought out, not just an afterthought. Place was buzzing but we never felt rushed. Just solid, consistent cooking that keeps pulling me back.

The meaty pizza with that unusual topping combo really worked for me. Fun watching the lads work the oven too, proper craft but not taking themselves too serious. House wine was grand.
