The owner was so kind and the food really hit the spot. Just watch out for the entrance, easier to come in from the other side.

The honey mustard croissant was the one that got me. Good flaky layers, filling actually tasted like honey mustard, not some watered-down version. The fried sweet potatoes on the side were a nice touch too. Lemonade was fine, nothing crazy. Solid spot if you're into croissants.

Stopped by for lunch and had the grilled mackerel. Pretty good, simple and fresh. House red by the jug was decent too. Prices are fair for what you get. Place is nothing fancy, but it’s genuine. Maybe a bit cramped inside, but fine if you’re not in a rush. Solid choice if you want real Portuguese food without the tourist markup.

Lunch specials are super affordable and the place has a chill vibe. Staff were friendly too. Good spot to grab a quick bite with friends. 😊

Came for the codfish, left happy. Fresh, cooked just right, and those homemade fried potatoes on the side were a solid touch. Service was quick and friendly even though the place was packed. Nothing fancy, just good traditional food done properly.

Chef was singing while he cooked — kinda nice, felt local. Food was solid, wine list is huge. Didn't try much of it though, just a glass of red. Place gets busy later, so go early if you want a quiet table.

Excellent service, delicious food and wonderful view. We loved our server, she was wonderful. We also really enjoyed all our dishes from the appetizers to the dessert.

Stopped by for a quick bite and ended up staying way longer than planned. The vibe is super chill, staff actually talk to you like a person. Got the grilled chorizo and it was properly charred, came with this tangy sauce I couldn't get enough of. Prices are fair for what you get. Only downside, it got pretty loud later on.

The sushi rolls were pretty creative, not your usual boring combos. They even made me a vegan plate without me asking twice. Portion size was decent for the price too.

The grilled pork was decent, juicy enough, and the portion felt fair for the price. Solid spot for a casual meal in Coimbra.

Came here on a regular Tuesday night, no fuss. Got the grilled fish and it was cooked right, flaky and juicy. Price is fair for what you get, not cheap but not a rip-off either. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Place gets a bit noisy when it fills up, but that's about it. Solid spot if you're in the area.

It’s an excellent pizzeria with a wide menu (of pizzas of course!) and attentive service. There are indoor and outdoor seating options. The dessert menu might have been a little more expansive (as it is only milkshakes and crepes) but the pizza was very enjoyable after a long day sightseeing in the Coimbra sun,

The seafood rice was loaded with prawns and crab — really fresh, generous portions. Steak came out cooked just right too, sides were decent. Service stayed polite the whole time, never felt rushed. Only thing is the place gets a bit busy around dinner, but we managed fine. Solid meal for a casual night out.

Came for the fado and the musicians really delivered. The room is small and dim, which makes the whole thing feel intimate. Just sat there listening, didn’t even touch my wine for a while.

If you are interested in the food/pizza its a good place to go. The service is also good. But the region where it is its not pretty to get a good view.

This is a great restaurant - the menu had many options and there were several that tempted us. Zeroed in on the Veal Chop - a delight - with grilled potatoes, pineapple, and vegetables. Had a Salade Nicoise to start/share - delicious. Asked Pedro the waiter for a recommendation on wine - he came back with a great bottle of local wine! Pedro was very attentive to our needs. Loved the experience. It would have been great to have more light around the area when we left, but we quickly found our bearings; BTW, easy to park a car there, so driving there is a great option.

We had a great expreience here. I tried the goat stew which was excellent and my wife had the vegetarian rice. The service was great and we were offered a complimentary Ginja shot at the end.

The setting is interesting with a view of the market, and the staff provided wonderful attention. The meal was amazing, making it a highly recommended dining spot.
